Man City the big buyers over the last three transfer windows, have not made a single buy thus far. Is this because they finally have a team where all bases are covered or is this a lull before a storm? In fact, the only transfer activity from Man City is the outward movement of Owen Hargreaves and Wayne Bridge.
On the other hand, PSG seems to be the new rich kid on the block!!
What are your views on the transfer window so far?
Cheers!

You can't buy chemistry. You Need The Lads to be on the same page and Man City Has that. Why mess with it? Ok who is PSG? Do they need many players? is there anyone they Should be looking for?

PSG stands for Paris St. Germain which is a French football club. They have been recently acquired by a billionaire owner. So he is on a buying spree to make it one of the top clubs in Europe and hence they are in the market for top players.

Unlike NBA, in football we do not have the trading kind of practice. It is more for the manager to scout out players that he wants to add and then approach them. So usually a player does not have much of say in choosing a club till an offer is made to him.

Apparently both the Manchester clubs have made the move for RVP. And as RVP has already stated that he will not be signing a new contract at Arsenal, with a heavy heart I think Arsenal have more or less resigned to lose him. Let's see where he finally ends up at.
Cheers!

I think there is no denying that Man City are going to be fighting for the EPL title. Also this year I expect them to fare better in the Champions League. Irrespective of whether we like the way they formed the team, the fact is that they are very good side now and if RVP goes there they will become a deadly team.
Cheers!

if RVP only want the trophy and not the money, he should choose Manchester United or Barcelona..
why he choose manchester city if he only wants the trophy?? the level arsenal is better than Manchester city..yeah last season, city is winner of EPL, but iam not sure that City can offer the chance get the champions league trophy than Barcelona or MU offer to RVP

Transfer window is mainly for clubs which want to invest hugely in big stars but nowadays the man city is not at all going for any new signings .They have a strong hope on their current squad and the entire team is playing well as a unit and they performed well to finish on the top so they believe that there is no unwanted need to get a new player in the block. They are conserving the money so that they could for a big buy of the midfielder from some spanish clubs at good price.
I think this has got something to do with the futuristic point of view of the city club

Also, I think in two years, Mancini has shown progress with the squad. In the first year he won the FA Cup and now the premiership, so that means that now the squad is more or less ready for Cup or League format. Now the next step would be Champions League glory. Chelsea had to wait for a decade. Let's see how long Man City needs to wait for.
Cheers!

I think the Man City transfer Windows now looks passive to buy players, probably because they already felt the English league so there is no motivation from the owner of the city for the championship, or it could be more wise management of Manchester City in transfer players upstart PSG Team :) one who looks like Manchester City when it was first purchased, spending very jor-rod seemed limitless budget.

I am sure that they will buy someone soon. RVP is still being strongly linked with them and has reportedly seen looking for a house in Manchester.

Ram i know your a gooner so let's worry about what Wenger would or should do. Anyway, from the start, city is already a very strong squad although as a unit that remains to be seen. Hopefully they didn't buy anyone. It pains to see that they can just bulldoze their way through anyone by getting great players.
