Would you hate a schedule that you don't like but it was already given to you?

I requested for 1AM-10AM shift but they still didn't give it to me.
I requested it for a long time ago but I'm still stuck with the 10PM-7AM shift. This is for me to perform better at work and for me not to fall asleep. Because I tend to fall asleep when at work in the wee hours as I woke up as early as 5PM in the day (calling it early LOL but if you check the number of hours, it is definitely imbalanced at times)
How can I say it properly (AGAIN) to my boss? care to help me out here? Please and thanks :)

Maybe they gave the schedule to you because it's the demand of the business needs. They need someone to work in that shift. I have some classmates that are working and their shift is midnight and they don't like it. Well, they can't do nothing about it because it will have bad effect on them if they decline it. Maybe you can ask your boss for consideration because it might affect your health or something.

To answer your title/question, for me it depends. If the hours is the time when I can really move about then no, I won't hate my schedule but if it's too early or too late or too unreasonable then I would abhor it with all my heart.
As for an advice tell your boss your reasons like your capacity to do work will be affected if he's/she's not convinced tell him/her to give you a week or a month to monitor you and see your progress depending on your schedule.

Have you ever considered why you boss would like to arrange you for 10PM-7Am after you have put forward your personal request? If it is regular company and you call it shift, I mean you will have the chance for 1AM to 10AM within another period of time, right? If not, you can have your rights to propose your request.
Another thing, if you really want to have the 1AM to 10AM shift, why not talk to your colleague first prior to talking your boss again. Maybe you could give him a treat to see if he is willing to exchange the shift time with you, just because you love to work at that time without any bad purpose. If he doesn't care too much on this, I think you could find your boss again to put forward your request.
Goo luck to you.
