I have never heard of any of the foods you mentioned. Could you please tell me what these dishes are? I don't know anything about your food, because I've never been anywhere to get any. There aren't any restaurants anywhere around here that I know of where you can get Phillipine food.

I love CPA, lechon(roast pig), all kinds of dishes cooked in gata(coconut milk), pansit malabon/palabok, the famous halo-halo here in Digman(Cavite), nilaga/bulalo, sinigang(fish/pork/beef), pinakbet and dinuguan!;) These are just some of our native dishes that are so original and unique here in the philippines.
Does somebody else here know what "CPA" is?

Sinigang na Baka is the best. My mom makes a fantabulous sinigang! She cooks the beef so tender that you can cut it with the dullest knife. She also see to it that the "gabi" (i don't know it's english translation) is cooked just right. It also has an ample mix of vegetables so it's also healthy. Overall it's the best sinigang I've tasted in my entire life.

I love different kinds of food from different countries but Filipino food will always be my comfort food (primarily 'cos I'm Filipina!). My favorite is sinigang sa sampaloc, kare-kare and of course, adobo. For the traditional delicacies, I just love palitaw sprinkled with muscovado. Sarap!
