I am also a person with worst hand writing.Frankly speaking, I don't think we can improve our handwriting after a particular age.
now trying to change the handwriting in graduate level is very difficult and has not worked for me.
I have also tried to improve my handwriting many times,if you are taking up notes or something, you can write neatly by taking more time. But surely, when the exam comes, we have to write fast and we will skip to our normal bad handwriting.
I have completed my b.Tech course, and personally know how important is the good handwriting.
I have also faced many difficulties due to my handwriting, and i believe that i got some back papers due to my poor handwriting.
my advice is that try to give more gap between words, if possible.try to give more space between lines..
these also may not be possible, but the thing that can be done to improve handwriting is pen.go and buy around 10 variety of pen with different size and ask your friends which pen makes your handwriting more easy to read.
some times gel pen works, sometimes ball point pen,pen with different nib size can be tried.Check and find a good pen, that can be surely done to improve handwriting.

When I was a little kid at primary, I had bad handwriting. I didn't like my handwriting. I always wanted to find ways to have good handwriting. Then I saw my friend's handwriting was very nice and neat. So when I borrowed notebooks from her, I copied her notebook and tried to write on them, to make my hand used to form that handwriting. It worked for me!
Probably you can try to do that thing, too. Well, it doesn't come instantly. You should have to write on the handwriting that you love until your hand gets used to it. It may need some time because your hand needs time to adapt to new thing.. :)

I am an engineering student as well, and for many years now too, but my handwriting has not improved a bit. I know that practice makes perfect, so probably the best way to have a good handwriting is to keep practicing it. It will be hard at the beginning but eventually you will get used to it. I have been planning on that as well but have not really gotten into it. I hope you do though. Good luck!

When your writing try to be more conscience of how you write. It will take a lot of focus to try to write clearer but with practice comes perfect!!! Also... I know I had to learn to write with both hands when I was like 10.. might get better with your other hand if you tried!
