Would you date a total stranger?

I know for a fact that a lot of people are now hooked at chat rooms just to look for a date. When a guy ask you for a date alone, would you accept his invitation? It's quite risky in a sense that you barely know the guy and you don't know what the guy really wants but would you take a chance?

I wanted to try that in order to satisfied my satisfaction. as long as I am the one who will choose our meeting place for my safety and personal protection because it is very evident that there are some crimes happen by meeting a person who is really a total stranger to you.

I don't meet a guy who i just chat for short time. Before meeting in person, i need to chat for a while to know more information about that guy, and know i can talk with him or not...some guys, i can chat 1 time only, no more...i don't know why...then for sure i won't meet that guy in person. Someone who can chat with me for a month or longer than that, and i am always happy whenever i chat with, i will meet that guy in person...
