i have 2 email accounts with gmail, it is really hard to switch to both of the accounts frequently, can we have the ability to divert emails from one account to another one? i.e i wish to set a primary account and want to divert all the mails coming to my secondary mail account to the primary account. Is it possible with gmail? if so, what is the option?

Anand, good to know that you got a new info from my topic, i am sure yahoo also have this kind of option, as most of us having more than 1 email account for our personal and business purpose and interested in getting mails with a primary id, some persons are not interested in sharing their personal email with strangers and others, so that they will create a separate mail for that and connect both of the mails using this kind of options

I think that is very easy, you can install a foxmail to your computer, then you can use foxmail to manage all of your e-mail account. That is very simple and convenience.

Your link is valuable to me and i connected both of my accounts using it. @ knightnday, you are right, stine provided me that link and i connected both of my email accounts using it. Hope here after i will get all my secondary mails to my primary account

there is no reason to have a dedicated computer that is always on and connected to the internet just to forward mails to another account.. i dont think that it is financially or logically viable.. moreover gmail has an option in preferences that allows the user to do eactly what the person is asking..

Hi viji, surely it is an useful topic, as most of us having more than 1 email account and wish to receive mails in a single account, by using this forward option we will get all the mails in our primary account.

you can use the mail forwarding option in gmail.. it will automatically forward all your emails from the secondary account to the primary account.. the only thing that you will have to do it log in once every 6 months in the secondary account..
