Last night Patches was sneezing really badly, with a lot of mucous. I was syringing the water into her. When we went to bed, I had said I was bringing her to the vets this morning as she was really bad. I woke up, she ate her breakfast and she got her medication. Not one sneeze, nor was she sneezing at night when she slept in my room. She is actually doing really good right now, she lying on the kitchen floor cleaning herself. I will continue to syringe water into her but may hold off on the vet visit. A lady I use to work with had said about allergies and now Im wondering if thats it, she was outside for about 30 minutes to an hour yesterday.

She heard you mention the vet, so she's going to make sure that she does not sneeze within your hearing. Nothing to see here... just a kitty cat sweetly and innocently cleaning herself after enjoying her breakfast.
It could be that Patches has allergies. I know that my youngest had a terrible case of the itchies and sniffles at one point, and that was due to some allergy--one that has never been diagnosed. I'm guessing that it may have been due to some of the plants where we were at the time, because it cleared up once we were away from that environment.

It is just as likely that an animal can suffer from allergies as it is that a person will suffer from allergies. With that said, I believe that there could be a really good chance that Patches is suffering from allergies. I really don't know how the weather has been in your neck of the woods, but here, it had been very dry for several weeks and then this past week it has rained a few times and that has been something that has really stirred up the allergens here.

I have one that sneezes a lot in the summer. This is a bad year for allergies. It may be that is the problem. Either way, extra water is helpful.

Maybe she just had a little allergy, but your syringe worked so I guess she's doing better now and no need to go to the vet.
I never encountered such with the cats that we have. Or perhaps I didn't really notice. I hope she does get out of it completely.
Have a great mylot experience ahead!
