Cabbage Soup Diet

Have any of you tried the Cabbage soup diet? Id love to hear your thought's on it and if it worked for you.
Apparently if you follow this diet for 7 days and do not cheat, you can lose up to 10lbs.
I am starting it today, just made my first batch of soup and it actually tastes quite nice, which surprised me a little. I am going to make slight changes to the diet to suit me though as I don't have that much weight to lose, so 10lbs in one week would be way too much for me. I will keep you updated on how I get on. :)

I want to slim down some, but from what you say I wouldn`t try your diet. I deeply feel that any diet should be well balanced. The cabbage diet does not have proteins and our body needs some carbs every day although a diet meas eating less carbohidrates and fat. I do think though that broth can help any diet if it is skimmed. It fills the tummy without adding too many calories.

I would add alittle protein with it and not overdo it just on cabbage, it might cause some gastric problems. For me anyways as I have some underlying health problems. Plus I don't care for cabbage either. I will only est it raw in cole slaw and not very often at all. God luck with it, ten pounds in one week sounds somewhat drastic so be careful. I wouldn't try it but thats just me. Yes, keep us all posted on how it goes.
