Martina Hingis was one of my favorite players. She always just seemed to float about the court. Her anticipation was so good that she seldom looked hurried. She was not big and was not considered a power player by any means. Her serve was not the most powerful. But, she was number one for a long time and won many Grand Slams. She was the first to beat the Williams sisters in back to back matches which showed she could handle the power players.

She is my favourite too just like you. Martina Hingis was a complete player in her own ways. She could just handle everthing needed to win a grand slam. Thats the reason she was at the number one position for such a long time. She is a great player. She is very beautiful too. She married Andre Aggasi and I must say my heart got broken. I had a crush on her. Well thats past. But I really liked her playing style. She was calm and composed and always looked natural in the court. She is a real tennis star to me.

The Swiss miss was my favorite as well. Her game was easy on the eye and on the ears as well :). At times she was a bit lazy with her running, but the grace in her shots were wonderful.
Actually, I liked her because she did not have the power game and played with elegance and timing.

Oh yeah Martina Hingis is a name you cannot forget. I love her spirits! She was graceful and fun in the court. She was young, very active and she never lose her cool. I never miss her games on TV. It's sad she retired earlier than I expected. Missed seeing her around.

I do not realy like Martina Hingis, because she is not my type. My favorite Tennis player is Maria Shaparova and Anna kournikova. They so hot and beautiful. Actually my favorite sports is soccer but i enjoy tennis because of them. I do not like to watch Tennis match with male player. I only like tennis match with female player. Destiny of man.
