Hmmm I don't know anyway to make a lot of money in such a short amount of time unless you have an actual job. The only thing I can suggest is to wait for your 21st instead so you have more time to save up the money and get something you really want.
Being on Mylot you are already starting to make some extra money. If you keep posting quality and thoughtful comments and discussions and keep it up daily you could be making $10 a month or more on here which is a start

Hello, Gellimac.
I'm in the same situation. I'm already twenty years old, but I'd love to have a new guitar. Actually, I plan on going today to repair my old one.
Perhaps you could get a part time job or something like that just to get your guitar. I don't know, perhaps you won't want to have the cheapest one, which means it would take a while. Why don't you save money to buy yourself THE GUITAR on your 21st birthday?
Respectfully,
Munhozmib.

Yes i can understand your desperation to get a new guitar for yourself and for this you also need to have good bucks to buy one guitar for yourself.
You can start your blog and start blogging about some interesting topics and thereby promoting it on social networking sites. You can also join Mturk and earn quite a few bucks too.

When you say fast approaching, how fast is that? 1 week? 1 month? or more? It is hard to earn money but you could always work part time somewhere like a mcdonalds. If you want to earn through the net. The pay is not great unless you're doing investing and that is high risk and takes time. I would suggest, you "loan" the money from your parents or friend but make really sure you'll pay it back.
