"Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son."
This passage really tell us Christian to keep on continue in our faith and keep on righteous way. It doesn't matter how far we are in the beginning but if we didn't finish the journey it doesn't matter.

Hello marcmm
We will always bear in mind that God gives us the way. He leads us in the tracts of righteousness.. May we always walk in righteousness..

I think that just sums up what it is to live as a christian it is a continual journey which we start when we accept god into or lives and follow the path Jesus set out for us.Faith is certainly a marathon not a sprint. There are quite a few passages in the bible thatdiscuss our journey with the lord.I think that these are particularly powerful "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord ..." psalm 37:23 and "A mans heart plans his way,but the Lord directs his steps" proverbs 16:9 and "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go,I will guide you with my eye" psalm 32:8
