A little while ago I posted a discussion about my daughters dog and how managing her became impossible for me,which was a real shame as we love the dog.My son in law took on board what my reasons were for not having the dog anymore. He got her trained and she is a different dog.She lays still ,does not pull on lead anymore. She is a real pleasure to have. She came to stay on friday afternoon while they went to euro disney with the kids.My daughter picked her up today.Like I said at the time teasing the dog and tormenting her might seem funny at the time.If they want to go on holidays ect.No one will take her on and she will have to go to an expensive kennels. So izzy will come during the school holidays with my grandchildren one less thing for my daughter to worry about.Has anyone else had this problem ?

It is amazing how pets are able to touch our lives. Having activities with them is like playing with your children sometimes.

Pets bring so much to our lives especially children ,they show them what real love is.Unconditional love is so precious.A pet will love you no matter what.

I hate it when people torment a dog and expect it to be well behaved afterwards. It just doesn't work like that. I'm glad you will be there for Izzy.

I must admit it I was fed up with it as well.I think me saying something worked as my daughter had tried to tell him but he just laughed it off.So when I made my feelings clear he just had to listen,or he could not go away.

I'm glad you made it clear. Some animals are just like a human sometimes and they will react different if provoked.

It is so much better now she does not pull my arm off, last time I pulled all the muscles in my arm ,it really hurt for ages.We walked her without much trouble and we enjoyed her company. She was a real joy.

I am glad your son in law decided to train Izzy. A dog that knows what we expect from her is easy to live with. I wonder why didn't he do that before your complains? Are your grandchildren old enough to walk Izzy alone?
