Wish I Could

I think this would be a nice hobby of mine if I ever could get into it. Cooking is a type of expression. And I think its one of the best because I love to eat. If I weren't lucky I would be more overweight but I think I have a higher metabolism than most. I can cook little things and I am not too bad at it. I have cooked pork chops and chicken before. I have made a few pasta dishes. I love pasta and it is easy! What types of food do you enjoy to cook?

Chinese and Japanese foods are my favorite! I love preparing stir fried noodles and Beef brisket. I enjoy cooking for my Family mostly weekends as we gather together with friends and loved ones..

If I could, I would cook mostly stir fry dishes. I like Chinese food and Italian. I love noodles! I cook spaghetti at least once a week. I cook other dishes like steaks, hamburgers, turkey, and chicken, but my favorite is Chinese. =)

Chinese food is one of my favorites also. Italian is awesome but sometimes too much of it can be overkill. I never get tired of Chinese food though!

I like just simply to medium things to bake/cook. I watch the cooking shows and they make these dishes with SO MANY ingredients..and most of which I don't have on hand, or use regularly or even find at my grocery. They just seem to take so many ingredients that they are just more work than I care to do....when I can get the same thing just as healthy and good a more simpler way...without so much "addo" about it all. And then it seems they put so much "extras" in a dish that you loose the flavor of what it is you are making! Ton of spices...I just think that is to "much".. I like a solid flaavor. My husband uses this seasoned salt stuff on his rib eye steaks! I mean, come on...I just want the wonderful flavor of beef and it's juices...not a bunch of salt and seasoning!

OH i have not watched shows like that very often. But if the dish is impossible to make for lack of ingredients i suppose you will have to pick something less drastic. Although it is a good learning experience when you watch those shows.

I love to eat but unfortunately, my metabolism is not that high and cooking is not one of my finer points. I do cook once in a while. My only cooking expertise is my family's favorite which is Crab in Coconut milk. Sounds simple but is so tedious when it comes to the process. On my 39th birthday, I celebrated by cooking 5 kilos of male and female crabs which my husband brought and bought for me. Cleaning the crabs alone took more than an hour and another hour just for cooking. I used 2 woks simultaneously. Good thing, they were cooked to perfection and entire family gained some hefty pounds. Oh well! It will take another occasion to eat it again and that will be several months from now. Might as well enjoy it!

Oh that is the way to do it. I'm sure your friends and family love you for it. You could even do like a bake raffle or something hehe!

Oh I like baked goods a lot. If I make them too much though I'll just be getting fat so I try not to!
