I was just searching a few job sites, and applied to a few jobs. I seriously hope I get something, I need the money, and want out of this house. Im just stuck in a rut and want out from it all. I applied to a midnight position at a gym, part and full time at a car part store (they have a variety of household items as well), a pet store, and still looking. I dont want to go back to midnights, but I need the money, and continues steady flow of money each month to pay for all my bills, and medication while on my own.

I've been applying (and reapplying) to jobs as well. My current one doesn't really offer anything...other than it being close by. (I'm in a rural area so anything else is miles away). The hourly rate is okay for what it is, but I don't get enough hours, so in the end it hardly pays anything. I've only been there for a little over a year, but in that time I've worked my tail off with no word from my boss about a raise. And there is absolutely no growth opportunities there. So I'm on the search to find something better. Hopefully I'll get something soon!

I'm glad you are finally thinking about getting out. No one will take your stuff and no one will be getting on your nerves.

Exactly! I can have my own things, and not wonder if they will still be there. I can buy grooceries and not have to buy for 5 other people. It would be nice, very nice actually. Thats why I love petsitting as I can relax, and not listen to anyone else whine.

What site are you using to apply if any? I would recommend indeed.com it's a free service and from my experience they provided me the best opportunities. I understand where your coming from too! The good thing is your motivated. People who want to find work in my opinion usually do. Be patient it will happen.

It is not easy to find a suitable job in nowadays, but in order to work in a company longer and get promoted,I still think you should find the job which suitable for you,and no just for the money, cause it can be a vicious circle if you do not care about what kind of job it is.

Sadly many of us including myself have to do jobs we dont like in order to suvive and pay bills. We dont get the luxiry of picking what we want, we will take anything we get.

Have you thought of getting a CD? You can put money into it and you'll be able to save that way. I mean getting a job is a great idea as well but I just don't want you to burn yourself out, and stress yourself too much. You can end up with health conditions that cost you even more money because of it. If you can find a way to save money as you go... I know you already save but a High interest yielding savings plan is something to look into as well.

Ricki, hopefully you will succeed in getting your dream job, to helps you to have a steady flow of income monthly. It is really to have steady income, to be able to lead a stress free life. I admire at how you are able to juggle your time very well at working several jobs at the same time. Hopefully, you do take good care of your health as well while earning your income for your daily needs. Good luck to you...

I think that you are doing the right thing to look for a job that will enable you to be able to save up the money that you are going to need to be able to live on your own. For me, I actually have to admit that I lived with my family until I was twenty-eight years old. We actually bought our house when I was twenty-seven, but it needed a lot of work before we were able to move in, so we were still staying with my mother while working on my house. We've been here for four years now and I really can't believe that I enjoyed living with my mother and siblings for as long as I did live with them.

if we really need money we will do anything just to have it and we find some part time jobs to pay all bills we had and all expenses in the house, but sometimes we need to think of our health too so we need rest even how we need money very badly.

Goodluck in your job hunting; I feel for you, I've been there too. I think most of us have, in some point. Just hang on tight and don't lose hope, something good will come along eventually. It's good that your are expanding your options. At this time when jobs are few, being unreasonably choosy isn't going to help. I like your determination and your obvious sense of independence despite the circumstances.
