It's very hard being the Mom and Dad to my 4 children. I try very hard to do the best that I can. I help as much as possible but man it really get hard at times. Two of my daughter's are single Mom's and I was a single Mom as well. When I Look at them I see myself in them. My heart goes out to them. They are all great parents and the worlds best children. I love them so much. I know I have to let them fly but it's hard but I do it anyway.....

If I were you I will not let them go... They are your family now and they are your best treasures to hold on to. Remember that they are single moms as well and would you like it that their children will not be look after very well? What if something wrong will happen to the kids while their moms are away? Please, consider it. Do not let your kids go...

Goldenladyrege I think you may have misunderstood me when I used the words let them GO.. Only a figure of speech Look I really! really! love my kids so no I would never let them go. But I do want them to learn to make a decision and stand by it, I want them to trust themselves. As of now they call me for everything and I want them to call me and tell me what they have done after it's done and not have to get my opinion on it because as we all know one day God will call me home and then they will have to do it without me,So that's what I mean.

I hold the highest respect for responsible single mothers (don't like the ones that act as if their kids are a curse forced onto them). I was raised by a single mother and she has no idea how she survived with only one child, you are amazing for taking care of 4. Personally, seeing my mother struggle and knowing how much hell I put her through puts me off ever even ATTEMPTING raising kids on my own. Mom cried and prayed many nights for someone to help her. I don't have the courage to go through that alone.

Sounds like you have done a ok job, and being a single mom yourself has shown your daughters how strong you are but also what they can accomplish in life. If mom can do it they can too. I wish them all of the luck in the world. My daughter is a single mom with a wonderful boyfriend who we hope will become family one day but until then it is just her and her daughter.
