Are rabbits red-eyed species?

Are rabbits red-eyed animals? If so, why are their eyes red? Is there any logical explanation?

Not all rabbits are red eyed, my rabbit has brown eyes. But there are some rabbits that are red eyed, I saw a few but they are rare and uncommon. I think they are called ibino (sp?), many dont want or like them.

well no, but some rabbits are red and they are quite extinct and no there's no quite logical explanation but scientifical yes but i dont know. :P
