These burgers are bite size!

Unless I go to restaurants with specialty burgers, I won't get satisfied with the burgers I get to buy from fastfood. I am no big fan of fastfood but if I have no choice, it can be an option.
One time, my boyfriend and I suddenly just craved for cheeseburger and fries. Since the nearest store we can go to at that time was McDonald's, we did not have much choice but to buy from there. He got us a Big Mac meal which includes soda and fries. When I opened the box, I was surprised to see that the Big Mac is not as BIG as I was expecting. It was smaller than a saucer! 
So we just stared at it quietly as if telling ourselves "Wrong decision!" 
I guess we will just stick to those specialty restaurants that serve gourmet burgers!

I can't even finish a Big Mac. I find it too big for my need. Regular cheese burger is actually enough to satisfy my craving for burger. How come you find them just bite size? Anyway I am not really a big fan of hamburger. I prefer chicken burger so in most cases I do order McChicken at Mcdonald plus orange juice. That combo is enough to fill me up.

LOL LOL LOL I am diabetic and so I should not even get into a McD or similar place. But sometimes when I give in its a Big Mac as well. No complete meal as I dont care for the fries and drinks but only a Big Mac........(drooling while I read this post......)

Jollibee's champ is much bigger when compared with a big mac. I find big macs seems to downsize for every year they stayed in business here in our country.

I just had a value lunch set of a double cheeseburger, Coke and fries at the McDonald's yesterday. When I opened the burger wrapper, the burger looked so small that I doubted it was a double cheese so I took off the upper slice of the bun to see if there were two slices of meat patty and cheese, thinking that they might have made a mistake to pack me a normal burger. To my dismay and disappointment, it IS a double cheeseburger 
The burger is small. But I love the taste. I like the fries there and I had 3 free refills of my Coke. I like Big Mac and Quarter Pounder too but they cost USD1 more.

Yeah, if you are looking for professionally served burger with some different presentation then fast food chains would not be your choice. I seldom go for a better restaurant to have burgers as the price would be quite high and the number of restaurant serving it is very few. I do visit Mcdonald for the value lunch McChicken set with fries and soda at about two us dollars. It is not big but enough to hold my hunger.

At first I had thought that it was merely because of the fact that I was growing up and getting bigger, but more and more I think I noticed that the Big Mac is indeed getting smaller. It used to be bigger, but now not so much. I have noticed that it is about the size of a small plate, which is not what it used to be.
I personally prefer more gourmet burgers; Red Robin and The Counter are my favorites, although there are a lot of good ones. I tend to go to Bob's Big Boy for a Big Boy since it is like a Big Mac except still a bigger size. I try not to eat many burgers any longer to try and regulate my own health, but when I do I tend to stay away from places like McDonalds anyways.
