I'm so tempted to order clothes online, but I don't know where to use them

I've been shopping for clothes from online stores for more than 2 years now. And, I like the convenience it offers, compared to having to go around the mall looking for the right piece. But, that was when I was still an office girl, and needed different outfits to put on for work. Now, Im a stay at home mom, and I can't even wear all the clothes in my closet in a month's time. I only go out every weekends with my husband, and seldom on weekdays to run errands.
I so, want to buy new ones, new style, but I find it unreasonable for me, since I can't really get to wear them all.

Hello jureathome,
I also am a stay at home mom, and sometimes I feel that way too. We all need to spoil ourselves a little. If you want to buy a few new items then I think that it will be okay. If you have to many clothes perhaps donate it? Have you ever considered just having one day a week a "me" day, or at least a couple of hours? We want to still feel beautiful so why not dress up one day a week and just enjoy being a woman!

That's a good thought.
I just feel guilty about buying new stuff when I still have enough. I would then feel that there are still other things worth the money than new clothes, accessories or shoes.
Maybe, if there is one that will really haunt my craving, I'll go press the "buy now" button.

I've always wanted to do some garage sale for used clothes and other items that I want to ged rid of in the house. However, I don't really mingle much with our neighbors and I don't have the guts to open the gate for such an event. It really would be a good idea to get money back from those stuff.

The one time when I ordered clothes, it was from one bulgarian website for underwear.
I was very disappointed of all I have received. The undies had to be something really special with the prices of 10$ or little more each pair, but when I opened the boxes I saw they looked like the ones they sell for much cheaper here in city. Anyway, that was o.k., but from the website where I ordered all of the things, they told me the undies are not bulgarian sizes. So I looked a lot at the table and to avoid buying undies which will be smaller for me, I ordered size L. I would say it was a very bad decision. When I tried them, I saw they are bigger than I needed.
I also ordered two dresses, the dresses are also the size L but was too thin for my body. And my order was for few customs also, which they told me they don't have at the moment, but they will receive them soon. Well I told them to send me what they had now and what they expect soon they may deliver later. It took a month or more to realize that they never called me for the last things I ordered.
That's when I said myself I will never order online.

If you have the luxury of time and you don't mind walking around malls to find your clothes, then it certainly is the better way to buy your pieces.

Oh, that's really disappointing, especially if you liked the dress or item so much, and thought its going to be a perfect fit. Fortunately, I have not had that problem with my online purchases. I also stick with the same suppliers who've given me good quality items. I can somehow, very well, estimate the clothes' fit by looking at the cut, style and design. You can also ask for measurements to be sure next time. They should be able to give that, and if they don't respond, then its better to look for another store.

Oh, you're definitely not alone on the amount of clothes in your closet... I think I have enough that I could wear a completely different outfit each day for at least three months.
I dream of having a small house. However, I have a large wardrobe. Hmm... Finding the balance between the two should be interesting.

In the small house, perhaps have a room meant for your closet.

When you feel it's not necessary then just save your money.
I feel the same way too.I
There are times that I want to buy clothes but on the second thought I was thinking those will only lie idle on my closet.
So, I just refrain from doing/buying things that I don't need the most.

Darn...just when I had all the motivation to go ahead and buy some...
Just kidding...
All of those who responded a few hours ago, before you, have given me a bit of a push to go for it. And, I'm actually back online just this minute to check on the shop again and then I saw your comment. Made me think, again...

I can't imagine my girls wearing my clothes in the future. Probably, they'll have a different fashion sense by that time. Maybe they'll be wearing catsuits...
Well, fashion of the past comes back at times, like what is happening now in our generation. The bell bottom jeans, the mid-thigh dresses, etc. Our fashion could also come back 20 years from now for our kids' generation.
But, I doubt if the quality of the clothes could still last that long and still look good. Things in our time are mostly disposables, even the cars.

Sounds like me haha!
I used to work in an office, now I'm a stay at home wife for a year and my closet is full of clothes that I haven't worn in a year. I still buy clothes that I like, just because we no longer work doesn't mean we can't. It's just that before I buy anything else, I make it a point to "make space" for my recent purchases. Those clothes that my sister can wear for work, I give her. Some of these I sell online, like I just post it on Facebook and let some friends bid on it. The rest I donated to charity. And those that are really no longer wearable I use as rags around the house.

Since I got pregnant late last year, I've been cleaning up the closet and disposing those I don't think I could wear anymore. I've given up more than 10 batches of clothes that are still good to my mother and sister. But, there are still some that I chose to keep and I'd still want to wear. Until, now, 2 months past delivery, I haven't worn most of them yet.
I think I'd want to buy a couple just to satisfy my yearning. Im sure my husband won't mind and he even encourages me to shop once in awhile.
