You know you will not be able to pay the amount full in six months then will you buy things that you dream of buying with credit card? What are the things you have brought with credit card? Are you able to pay the amount fully that you have brought with credit card? Is it a good habit to buy all the things with credit card?

I used to have several credit cards. I was making good money and keep them payed up. But then I got smart and I cut them all up. I use a debit card now and will never have another credit card. Why give money to these big companies when i could put it in savings and do something with it. Maybe I can't get as much stuff but what do I need with a bunch of STUFF? And what I do have I enjoy more.

This is a very good way to approach spending. I like to think of how many hours I would have to work to pay for things, and I often find that I do not want or need them so badly.

Oh, i love to buy by using credit card but i never buy something is more expensive than my income...i always want to make sure that my income is bigger the amount spent...
Currently i don't buy by using credit card more because i want to save more money every month, When i buy using currency, i can consider it a bit to buy or not...and the result is i can save much money by limiting my shopping habit...

Yes there are lots of items I want to buy from 3g modem to new laptop and lots of things. I can buy it with my credit card, but I am not sure if I will be able to pay the money. So I am postponing the things I want to buy until I save enough money to buy them.

Hi Ajith, most of the time, i prefer not to buy thing using credit card anymore. I tried as not to have the habit of buying thing the installment way. I prefer using debit card more often recently in case i forgotten to bring enough cash. I ever buy thing use credit card but always make sure to re-pay them within the 6 - 8 months period. I tried not to incur too much interest as much as possible. The more interest we incurred the more profit the bank will make in return.

I use my credit card very much to organise my bydget, but I pay it fully each month so I don´t have to pay for the use of it. I don´t like to get into deby if I can help it, so I just waut until I have enough money to buy what I want.

I have to have a credit card because I travel. But I don`t use it as a credit card and it really helps me organise my budget.

I only proceed to buying something and paying for it in 6 months installment if that is under their promo of zero percent interest on installment. If it's not, then I just drop it.
I only use my credit card for something that I will be able to pay in full come due date. I have encountered lots of collecting agents harassing my workmates over unpaid credit card debts and the stress and agony isn't just worth it.

As long as it can be paid by credit card, I will pay with it. So I use the credit card not only in the supermarkets and malls, but also in the restaurants. It is much more convenient and my bank will give me some gifts according to my purchase amount.

No i don't even have a credit card and I don't really want to get one, you just never know when you are going to face some hard financial times and you could easily get into debt a lot if you aren't able to make your payments. I think it's just smarter to pay for things with actual money. The only problem I will face is getting a loan because I have no credit but I think pretty soon I'm going to start trying to build my credit.

I buy most of the food I eat, all my meds and whatever I can buy with my credit card. But I don´t use it as a credit card but pay it fully every month. I need a credit card because it is very important if you go to another country. And my credit card is associated to a travel agency and gives me prizes in dollars if I use it, even if I pay it fully. So I use those dollars when I travel to pay in part for my airfare.

I really don't think that there is an inherrant problem with using credit cards, but I also don't really think that they are something that people should depend on all the time.
My husband and I got into some trouble with credit cards in the past and because of that we enrolled in a debt management plan. We've been in that for over two and a half years and doing that has taught both of us to not depend on money that doesn't really belong to us.

Right. Maybe the 'card with number'-system might be more-convenient than 'carrying around cash you have to keep track of' (though 'card with number' is closer to 'the Mark of the Beast's name or the number of his name on your hand or -your forehead' ),
But I would only do it with a debit-card, with which you can only buy things if you HAVE the money in your account.
Hey! Maybe that's the next step toward the STAR TREK-economy in which we no longer USE money

Hi ajithlal: I have a credit card but I rarely use it. Some people simply get crazy with credit cards because they use it over and over again and they forget that they have to pay someday. When I have to use a credit card I have already planned how do I buy it.

In my opinion, it is good to buy using your credit card. In my country, there are so many promos offered by our credit card. They have promos like spend a certain amount and they will give you freebies like free movie passes or free starbucks drinks. So, I think it is beneficial to use cards. But the only downside is you do not feel you are spending. And you might spend more than you can pay because you do not feel the expenses piling up. But if you can control yourself, why not get a credit card?

Nah.
I'd rather not get a credit card. So I don't need to buy the things I can;t afford. It will only add up to my expenses and I will have an urge to splash my money on things that I will eventually regret.
Credit card is a form of a liability and from that alone I hated it. I love debit cards more.

There are some advantages of buying things with credit cards, but I do not do it. I have no credit cards at this time, because it is easy to overspend if you have a credit card.

I'm always using my credit card for groceries and shopping but I make it sure that I always pays full every month. It's a big help for me when I'm run out of cash and sometimes I'm saving cash too coz here in my country not all store are allowing to use credit cards like in the market.

Yes I do. I am usually able, thank goodness, to pay them. Christmas is when I do the most spending. And usually online. It just seems easier than dealing with the crowds.

I like to pay with cash but there are some scenarios that buying with a card would be better. For example is those promos were you will pay for 12 months or cheaper if you buy with a card.

I bought many things using credit cards. Even though i don't own them. I use my mom credit card and pay her in cash. Some of the things i've bought using credit card are my car spare parts, bodybuilding supplements, clothing and computer hardware. I use credit card because i bought those things online. It is a good habit if you know what you're doing and prepared for the consequence. It is not if you can't control yourself. I have debit card now which is similar, just that i need to keep on reloading it with cash.

I now a days are tempted to buy things that I need with the credit cards, but I try to say to myself that I will buy it tomorrow rather than today and tomorrow I would say the day after tomorrow and I think this is one way not to increase the credit limit in the card or the money in the card.
