Skinny or Chubby?

I gained a little weight this past few months and I hate it. I hate how I look. I wish I'm slimmer just like I used to be. Why is it so easy to get fat and so hard to get thin? My bf assumed me that I look beautiful and it's ok with him even if I get fat and That I shouldn't worry about how I look. But I still can't help feeling lonely about it.
This is basically for the guys, but women can spill their opinions too. I wanna ask, Which do you like more? Skinny girls or Chubby girls?

Neither, how about just enough curves to look like a woman, but without all the unnecessary extra fatty deposits? :)
You're lucky that your bf doesn't care that much about your weight; that means he's just so truly into you (ayieeee!)
Have you tried working out? I know that as we get older it's harder and harder to lose weight, unless we're gifted like those fortunate ones who can eat anything they want without gaining a pound.

I really envy those kind of people. They can eat anything they want and they can eat as much as they want without gaining weight. I can't say that I'm a pig eater though. I have Polycystic ovaries which makes you gain weight and crave for food more. It basically has something to do with abnormal insulin levels and that's the culprit in my weight gain. Plus, I really do gain fast. I hate it.

Thanks. Yeah it can be corrected. Luckily. LOL. It's a 6-month long medication. I have to take pills and Metformin (diabetes med, but I'm not diabetic. It's used to cure the thing, since it's insulin related). I'm on my 5th month, and I'm getting tired of my medication. Especially since Metformin's side effects are very strong. I get very dizzy whenever I take it. I even get diarrhea out of it. My nails go weak too. The great thing about Metformin is that it can curb your appetite, hence helping you lose weight a little. I really hope I can lose weight, maybe even just 20lbs before visiting my Gyne next next month.

awwww, I'm sorry to hear that. It can be corrected or cured or stabilized thru meds, right?
Anyway, you're still lucky to have a very supportive bf who sees you for what you truly are beyond all those extra weight you gained or lost. :)
Good luck and I hope you get well soon.

That happened to me too, I went overseas and didn't realise til I got home I gained weight even though I was a lot more active and getting excersise everyday. I've lost about 2 kilos but could afford to lose another 4 to get rid of this flab I have on my stomache and legs
I don't want to be too skinny but not flabby or chubby either!

Same here. I don't look good when I'm too skinny. I really need to lose some weight. It's hard but I really have to. I'm losing my confidence. :(

Oh no don't lose your confidence over a bit of fat. You can lose it. Just a bit of excersise and eat the right kinds of foods and don't eat too much and you will lose some like I did

It is far easier to put on weight than lose it for most ladies. I stayed very slim in my teens and twenties. I believe it was all due to the cycling that I did. I had to cycle around on my bike, to the shops and to work as well. I lived in a village where the public bus service was poor and pricey. When I moved to the edge of the coastal town I felt that it was fine to use the local buses and trains. I put on weight and then put on even more weight due to being so ill after my daughter was born. I had a severe blood loss and I had to work hard to get better and stay alive. I didn't lose that fat and it stayed with me. I passed my practical driving test two years ago and have been driving to places by car. I lost four kilos during my trip to South America. My body mass index is now in the healthy range. At my worst I was in the overweight range. I am walking more, dancing, swimming and eating more vegetables. I have a smaller plate, small serving and eat salad every day. If a man loves a lady he is not going to go off her if she puts on extra weight. The lady might feel less attractive however.

I guess that's what they call true love. A person doesn't really love you if he/she dumped you over the fact that you just gained weight or the like. I'm very lucky and very happy my guy loves me for who I am. I know the feeling. Being slender before and then gaining weight. Even though our partners assure us that we're still pretty, it's just girls' nature to be very conscious about how we look.

HI there, well the question is how much weight did you gain, a few 2-3 pounds is normal but 2-3 kilos is some thing you must control. waistline from 26 t0 30 is a bit alarming, i am here only to remind that no matter how we look what important is the real Us/me.

Well, if you're going to read the response above you, you'll know the reason of the weight gain, and it's basically uncontrollable if you have a condition like that. If you're on the medication, it's possible that you can try and control it.

If you want to lose weight try to exercises like jogging combined with proper diet you will lose more than 2 lbs in a week. About your question, I prefer in between the two not skinny nor chubby , well I can't stand watching skinny models in tv and I hate to see people with disease because of excess fat. Good luck on losing weight, Good day and God bless
