I usually have trouble sleeping now. I don't know maybe I'm thinking too much and I can't help it. I feel sleepy now but when I will stop and shutdown my laptop I still can't sleep. It's getting harder to sleep when I force myself to sleep. Do you get what I'm saying?

Vycess, If this post hadn't come from you, I can bet you would have seen this post started by me. I am exactly in the same situation. Yawning right from 10 pm but getting asleep not before 1 am. Sitting in front of laptop also makes me feel uncomfortable but I am not able to sleep. I am totally idol these days, no work at all. I play badminton daily for roundabout 2 hours, but I think this much workout is not proving enough to make me asleep.
Anyways you should try this, increase your physical activity as much as you can bear (I do not know what your age is). Getting tired do helps you get asleep fast. If this still doesn't help, CONSULT A DOCTOR. Good luck.

i have the same problem... think i live in different time zone because i can't sleep during the night. and yes i think too much. so what did i do to solve my problem? non, i still don't sleep during the night but i am very productive. i write stories. anything that pops in my head i write it down and now it has become my second book. so instead of dwelling on the negative side that i can't sleep i just do something worth while while i wait for the sun to come up and it's time to sleep for me.

hi,
the first thing that i will do if i cant really sleep is to read books and if no books i will go to internet till my eyes will fall but if not i will just drink a glass of warm milk and for sure i could sleep that now.but i am thankful because i don't have an insomnia.

I hear what you're saying. But sometimes medication can cause you to not sleep. I don't know if you're on medication or not, but if you are, maybe you should look it up online and see what side effects it might have. I sometimes have a hard time sleeping as well. But when I do fall asleep I sleep like a log. Maybe you should go see your doctor and find out what it might be. Maybe it is something simple like you're lacking a vitamin or something.

Then i will try to read or if i still do not feel sleepy. Then i will keep myself quiet and then think about something that happene before. To think about something good and that's really makes me sad about the past.Maybe later i'm sleepy and thus it is helpfu.

I feel like that all the time,i'm usually doing a few my lot posts late at night and i start to feel tired so i shut my computer off and go to bed.But when i get to bed i feel wide awake and can't fall asleep, this also happens when i try reading a book to get myself to drop off.I have found the best way to get my self to fall asleep is having something like the radio playing quietly in the background.Maybe this could help you to sleep as well.

Oh, I understand that very much. Sometimes it's frustrating and a headache especially when there's something important you've got to do the next day. I don't like the feeling of not being able to sleep as well. I feel like floating with a heavy head in the morning until I could no longer bear it and sleep the whole day away.

H, Vycess. We do have the same problem before. I would usually eat a banana and drink a glass of milk and then that would made me sleep. I know the feeling of irritation would also struck you sometimes especially when you really do want to go and sleep but your mind won't allow you to do so.

Yes. Try closing everything. Books, laptop, anything. Switch off the lights. Put on some music [on stereo or headphones] and close your eyes. It works for me.
