What are some things that you enjoy doing for a girls night out?

I just was thinking that I need some time out with the girls. As I often don't get time to myself because my husband is always doing things like going to the gym or playing xbox instead of offering to watch our child for me. But I've decided I need to plan something with my friends and have him watch our daughter. What are some things that you and your friends do. It truly has been along while since I have went out with my friends. It really is long over due.

Going out with the girls always depends on who are others involve. What do they like doing? or what do you mostly do to have fun together? When me my girl friends go on a night out, we usually go singing or going to a live band bar or sometimes we go dancing, it depends what we want to do..it always depends on the mood of the organizer. :) good luck girl and have a blast!

Yeah my friends are pretty open to whatever. I think though going to see a band, or other activity like that would be fun. We also love going out to eat. So I will have to check around our area and see what is all going on. I'm sure that I will be able to find something. I'm really looking forward to it.

I will say now what I'd love to do. It doesn't mean that I do it, just because I live in the city where my boyfriend lives and to be honest I can't say that i have real friends here! But what I would love to do, having comfortable company by my side is a walk in the sea garden, eating ice cream while we chat for funny things. Or I'd love to go to watch a movie in a cinema. Unfortunately I really don't have people to spend my personal time with. What I always do is work, work, work, home work, such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, watching TV and again work, work, work, day by day the same stuff.
I love walking the puppy, but I don't like it when we leave alone, without a company of a friend or my boyfriend. It is nice to chat with other owners of dogs, but not that cool when I don't really know them well. I'd love to have people around me who are o.k. with my life, character and goods and bad's I have. I have several friends like that, but they all live where i lived before.

Oh, hun! I know so well what are you talking about! My boyfriend is the same.
We both work from home and since the morning til we are up at the night he spend his time on his computer. Sometimes working, sometimes playing games for relax. I can ask him do some things instead of me, but he is having kidney problems, having stones inside his both kidneys so I don't like to bother him a lot, about what is happening at home. I try to deal with it myself, but since we took a puppy it's worse. The pup only makes everywhere around, I am walking after it like a mom to clean up and everything ... And until I clean one please, other place at home is dirty. My guy started complaining about being dirty, what i answer is "Well, clean it if you think it's dirty". Lately I do only the needed things such as laundry, cooking, cleaning the kitchen and that's all. One little thing at the flat or two little things for the day. I know it's not enough, but I am very tired doing same and same stuff every day.
I am having lack of motivation too.

I completely understand your schedule. All I the things that need to be done takes a lot of time. I agree with you simply talking with someone can do a lot for us. That is why I need to get out and spend some time with my friends. Otherwise I will feel so overwhelmed about my life that I will not feel motivated to take care of everything I have to. For example my husband doesn't help with anything around the house. And when he gets home he often goes to the gym for two hours and by the time he's done that he could have spent time with our daughter so I can have a little free time or do some more work around the house.
It makes me so discouraged that I often feel like not doing anything anymore and just giving up. I'm sorry to hear that all your friends live in a different area. I can understand that. I will have to travel a little distance to see my friends. When I got married I moved to a different town and so I understand how you feel about your friends living somewhere else. That makes it hard. I hope that you will be able to make new friends in your area.

My wife together with her friends watch movies and eats in a restaurant. Of course talking and sharing stuffs will be always there. More talk, more bonding so it`s better if it is a quiet place for you to share moments. My daughter and her friends likes to go to karaoke bar and sing a lot and then grab their dinner and goes home. It depends on you but this is just a suggestion, i asked the both of them just to make sure

hi D,
I really love going out with my friends
We go to spa have a massage then after that we go to a club have some drinks and enjoy the music.
Sometimes we just simply dine in and watch movie after
The latest one was going out of town for a day
I think you should tell your husband you need to go out for awhile and have fun with your friends.
happy mylotting

Those all sound like great things to do. It is great that you were all able to go out of town for a day. How far did you have to travel for that? I'm definitely going to tell my husband that. Usually my mom watches our daughter but I figure my husband can watch her and he can see how much I have to do. Because I really don't think he appreciates all that I do. Thanks for your suggestions. I really appreciate it.

everytime me and my friends decided to go out we would choose, spa for massage ,salon for beautification or a restaurant where we can have a good chitchat or a cafe where we can enjoy the coffee and at the same time we can talk

A spa outing sounds really nice. And I love to eat. It's always nice to be able to go out and eat with friends. I'm hoping that after we move in a few weeks I will be able to get together with my friends and catch up. Thanks for sharing your suggestions with me. I love to go and spend time with my friends.

Sounds like you definitely need a night out! Especially with children, it can be so difficult to get out at times. Last time I had a girls night out, we went to a salon and got pedicures, which was really fun. Afterward, we went out to eat and then went to the movies. It was a pretty simple night, but we had a lot of fun! Hope you are able to find something you enjoy. Have fun!!

No, those types of things are great. I love getting my nails done. It's something that I guess makes me feel good about myself. And I love to go out to eat. If I can't think of anything else that sounds like a really good thing for me and my friends to do. Thanks for your help. I appreciate it.
