Do you read your horoscope every day?

I don't believe in the sign predictions and when I read my horoscope in the magazines I forget them quickly! But when I was younger, I had subscribed to an online magazine that sends the horoscope predictions to my email every Monday. The predictions are weekly and sometimes I read them if I am not very busy in the morning! However, this doesn't affect my decisions in life and I just read it for fun!
If you read their daily horoscope do you take the predictions under consideration and how does it affect your life? I am interested to hear other people's opinion!

I don't read my horoscope every day and I don't believe in such things but for some reason when I see a horscope on a magazine me or any of my friends are reading I can't help but read it. It's strange because I don't care what it says and I forget it after about 10 seconds and yet I still want to read it.I guess it's just one of those things people do without thinking, just out of habit ...

Exactly! And sometimes people tell eachother that their personality matches their sign, like people very often tell me,despite the fact that there is no scientific proof or any kind of logic that proves that a person's personality can be determined from their date of birth. I guess people just feel safer when they feel they know what's coming and what to expect of others...

I believe in astrology. It's a science. But I don't believe in horoscopes and predictions published in newspapers and magazines. If your horoscope is prepared by a knowledgeable astrologer accurately,I believe it can foretell your future and reveal your past as well.Predictions published in newspapers and magazines are generalized. It is only a coincidence if they come true. They are not accurate.I don't believe in them and so I never waste my time reading them.

Have you ever consulted an astrologist? Noone has ever created my personalised prediction according to my birth date and time!
I am not convinced that my future can be predicted by the planets position, I want to believe that I make the decisions for myself and I am responsible for them.

My horoscope is prepared by a astrologer who was living near our place. He was an experienced astrologer.Since I don't know astrology,I have no idea whether my horoscope is accurate or not.Still I know one thing and it is that stars and planets influence our lives.Of course,we can prosper if we labor hard, but to a large extent our tendencies are also controlled by planets.I can explain it through an example. Our body mass has 97% of water. As you must be knowing about tides that occur on full moon nights. The water of the sea is affected by moon.It is therefore that the mad grow violent on full moon nights.Similarly our nature, behavior and tendencies are affected by planets and stars.

Hi besweet,I like to read my horoscope while reading newspapers or magazines for fun even though I don't believe it totally. Most of the time it's not precise. I consider that it happens to be coincident only if the prediction is accurate
Happy posting

I was registered online once and it still comes in my e-mail every week. I guess that money and relationships is where most people focus when they read the horoscope. But I understand that you do it for fun mostly, I do the same! Have a nice day & thanks for your comment!

I read my weekly horoscope because it comes in my e-mail! When it says good things it makee me happy for a while but then I forget it! What if it says that you should avoid discussions etc, in a day that's not good according to the planets, do you follow it then?

Moments like that are hard to forget and they need time. This is the tricky part with horoscopes because they might be correct a couple of times and they are then connected in our minds with those life changing moments that might be good or bad. However we should also think about the moments that they didn't come true in order to have a balanced opinion.

Horoscopes appearing in magazines and periodicals very often miss the purpose for which it is brought out. Predictions mentioned therein seldom happen. Forecasts about you ...who else but the Almighty could predict what will exactly happen to you.

I seldom will read my horoscope. As I don't believe in horoscope. As there are billions people in the world but they belong to 12 horoscopes. However, their experience can be far away from each other. So how can the horoscope tell us what will happen tomorrow. If I read it, I just do it for fun.

I am sure that if we read the monthly horoscope, we'll all find something to relate to! In a month many things can happen and it's possible to relate with the general predictions of a horoscope! But otherwise it's as you said impossible to predict the life of all those different people worldwide who happen to have the same sign! I read it for fun when I do because it comes in my e-mail every week! I subscribed once and they still send it!

I sometimes read on my horoscope when I feel like it and also subscribe to this online news feed. Ahaha but that doesn't mean that horoscope prediction may affect your daily lives. It will just be your guide, it is still up to you if you will follow that prediction or not =)

Hi! I also read it every week, but I don't base my decisions on my horoscope! Every person is different and I can't accept that all the people with a particular sign are going to have the same day! I can even see the difference between my friends and me that were born with a few days difference! Thanks for your comment!

Actually, for me, one of the things that I enjoy doing is to read my horoscope at the end of the day to see if there is any kind of truth to them.
Last Saturday after my husband and I had kind of gotten into it, I looked at my horoscope for the day and it did basically say that there was going to be some conflict in my life on that day.
For the most part, however, I really believe that horoscopes are so generic that something in every one could apply to your day or week.

I've never checked to see if they've actually predicted what has happened! I am sure that similar things must have happened to me as well. But it's true that they are general as you said, and every individual can relate the daily experiences with it.
There are standard expressions that they use, like, you'll have an interesting meeting from the past, or be careful with your finances this month because additional expences might appear.

Yes, there are some newspapers with the horoscopes on the last pages! I prefer reading them from magazines when I do it though, I think that they say more interesting things! The predictions also depends on the audience sometimes! I've noticed that the newspapers are a bit more "serious" and talk about economics and work. The magazine predictions might emphasize on relationships and social life which is more fun to read for me!

i dont usually read my horoscope because i dont pay much attention to it. i can only read one if i would like to.and if i am affected to it,that would just depend on my mood.when i am so down and there's a chance that ive read my horoscope i would probably do the things that are good and avoid the things that is for my bad luck, but if i am just normal or no problems at all i would just definitely wont mind it.

We are all happy when we read that good things will come to us! Even if you don't believe in horosopes it's nice to have someone saying that you'll have good luck today and you'll be happy. But that's only for a moment, I forget the predictions very quickly and I don't do or avoid things during my day. When we feel down, we're looking for a reason or for someone to say that everything is going to be ok and this is because of the planet's position and next week, we'll be happy again! Sometimes we make fun with my friends, if everything goes wrong we say that it's because Mercury is retrogate!

to believe in horoscope is like confining yourself in a cage. Life is freedom and one can change destiny by working in the right direction. Horoscope is a tool in the hands of lazy people who wait for the planets to work on their behalf

You are very precise in your description! I do read it for fun because it is still sent to my e-mail every week, but I agree that we shouldn't believe in such predictions about the future. However, there is an entire business built on horoscopes and this means that a lot of people in the world believe in it!

This is how I see them as well, they are a business that has been established through the years and there are people that have made it a way of living. It is fun to read the predictions and the characteristics of each sign but I don't believe that we should follow the advice that they give on our daily life!

Thank you for your comment! I also forget it after I read it, and I've noticed that what they say is very general so that a lot of people can relate to them. They look like well expressed general ideas that can be applied to a wide audience. So when people believe in them, they feel that this is actually a prediction of the things that have happened to them!
