I have a Latop of Compact model number is Presario CQ57 and i am using it for last four months. My cousin in law gifted me this laptop for my professional and home usage but unfortuntely it's Keyboard's one button "a" got some problem. It is not working now and i am using On-Screen Keyboard now. It is creating difficulty for me in typing the words. Is there anyone who could tell me the cheaper and correct solution of this problem.
I will be looking forward for your kind replies.

If you purchase a laptop some of the store has warranty or laptop insurance. That happens to me too after when I brought my laptop 2 or 3 days, 3 different keys are broken so the store they don't fix it but replace the whole laptop. I have 1 year warranty but now my laptop is 3 years old my upper key is now broken, maybe it depends on the quality and brand and how people use it. Try to inquire on the store that your cousin brought it or on compact maybe they can still fix it.

My dad's laptop is having a problem with one the keys too, just like yours. His full stop key is not working really well, and we have to press REALLY hard on that key to get the full stop to appear on the screen. He consulted a computer technician, who recommended him to clean the keyboard, citing clogged up dust under the keyboard as a potential cause. My dad's living with the problematic key at the moment, but it's something that you might want to try if you are looking for options. Good luck!
