The Dark Knight Rises; Nolan's masterpiece

I am a big fan of Christopher Nolan and I admire his trait in using the same actors for different movies which shows the wide range of characters these actors are able to portray . The trailers look good but do you think the movie will live up to the hype? Dyou agree with Nolan's tendency to cast the same actors in his movies?

When you are talking about a Christopher Nolan movie, then you should be one hundred percent sure that it will be a great movie. He is a genius. His movies are so different from others. Its so intellectual and thought prvoking. He always create something new and tries to be different from others. He is a brilliant filmaker. His visions are all spectacular. I was completely blown away after seeing Memento and Inception. Two of the most brilliant and awesome movie I have ever seen. In my opinion he always creates a masterpiece. I am also very excited about The Dark Knight Rises and I think from the reviews it is quite clear that the movie is epic.

Hello there! He is a genius! I hope you have watched the Dark Knight Rises, I do not want to spoil anything if you havent. Pretty bumming news though about the Colorado shootings. I truly appreciate your response and that you share the same enthusiasm as I do for his work. I wish there were more film makers like him who aspire to create and I quote from him "intellectual action movies". All the best!

I like all Nolan movies, except Insomnia, because I think he has a very creative way in telling stories on such an unconventional way that every movie that he made so far has been very different than the others. It is remarkable how he shift Batman trilogy from the totally bogus Batman Forever to the remarkable Batman Begins. He also challenged our mind when watching Inception, a great sci-fi film. He made me has to concentrate and focus on watching every scenes from Memento. Although when I check rottentomatoes.com, the reviews for The Dark Knight Rises were slightly worse than The Dark Knight, many critics were also considered this as a perfect closure of the trilogy, and even better when you watched it on IMAX. Therefore, I will definitely going to watch it on the IMAX in my city (there is only one IMAX theater in my country).

I really appreciate your thoughts from one Nolan fan to another. Another thing I rather like about him is how he and his wife are a team. She got her start first actually; 2nd producer if I am not mistaken in the movie Memento. Although I have never finished watching Memento, it does provoke thought. Therefore I feel Nolan and his wife make a great team in these thought provoking genre and intellectual action movies. He would direct and she would produce. And yes! IMAX!

The Dark Knight franchise in my opinion has been really good. From the trailer of The Dark Knight Rises I am very excited to watch it and I cannot wait till Friday to be able to watch it. For me there is no problem with Nolan's tendency to cast the same actors. I am sure he would not tap those actors if he did not think they were fit for the role.

is Anne Hathaway the catwoman? i think that the first movie was great. i am really looking forward to watch the second installment. i think that dark knight is really a cool movie it's too different from the other batmans that i have seen. it's not cutie-cutie but hard pumping action the way a batman movie should be.

yes she is the catwoman, but according to the critics in the movies she was called by her real name Selina Kyle and there is no reference to "Catwoman."

yeha..ive just seen this on Tuesday..2 days ago.
was pretty good movie..ofcourse if compared to part 2..not as good Part 2 is still all time great. for this trilogy..
