Good morning to all.
Do you still go to work even you feel quite sick or going to be sick?
I do feel quite not well today but still at work now. I hope It wont lead to sickness so I take proper medication now. I need to finish some things that are needed for deliveries today and tomorrow so I really have to be at the office. No one knows how my job really works so it will be pending today if I dont come to work today. But if I could feel that I cant really make it to work to tomorrow and really feel that I am going ti be really sick, for surr I will not go to work by tomorrow lol. For now, still doing fine.
Have a great day ahead of us all.
Work mode.

I tend to go to work even when I'm sick especially if there is an urgent thing at the office that I need to attend to. Good thing - my office is like a stones throw away from my home. I take the necessary medications also. I really value my leave credits. But it's my wife that wont allow me to be at the office. She's right - Health is wealth. Being sick is indeed expensive. Thanks

If I can't really make it to work and really have to rest I do used my leave.
But sometimes just at home and doing nothing make me feel more sick.

I try and last as long as I can at work but if you are really sick there s no point staying and not being able to work well. Go home and just relax and feel better for tomorrow.

Well, there have been many times that I have went into work and not always felt the Best. Would have loved to have stayed home and some days have left early, but since I really cannot afford to be sick a lot and get no real sick time coverage yet where I work, I go in. Not sure if my participation is always worth it, but it helps keep me motivated more usually for sure.

Like you, I also report to office even if I feel sick. It's because that I don't have someone to trust. Because no one knows me job. I just hope that my assistant will already be back so that I can finally take a break...

I've not worked outside the home for several years now and even when I did work outside the house, I typically did make myself go to work when I was not feeling well because of the fact that I felt like I was letting people down when I was not going to work. However, when I felt like I was absolutely going to die, then I would not go to work. Those were the times that I would used my paid sick leave to keep from getting other people sick.

In the exigency of service. He he. I also do come to work even if there are times that I am not feeling well. I just take my medicine immediately if it happens. Take good care.

it depends. If i am feeling really sick and would be unproductive, then i would opt not to go to work anyway. :D I think though that if i have a lot of things to do, i would still come to work and just try to finish or accomplish as much as i can... sometimes it makes me even more sick if i would just be staying at home.

yes, still do. sometimes my (mild) fever would stick around for days cause i cant get enough sleep. especially that i work at night so the stress and lack of sleep would add up to it.

Hi Ardoy, when i was still working, i rarely take off. Although i am sick, i still need to come to work especially during early and end of the month. Because i am the only person who is handling the administration section. I only can take off during off peak days, like middle of the month. That's why, i feel i am not really happy with my ex-job although i am allowed to have medical claim. Because i can't take off any day as i wish, even though i am sick. Exceptional is only when i am very sick and unable to get up from my bed, then only i can take a leave.

It depends. Sometimes when it is just a headache, dizziness, colds, or cough, I always go to work. When I know I can bear the sickness, I still go to work because I always have a lot of stuff to do. As much as possible, I don't like being absent from work. But when I have a fever, I definitely take a day off from work.

Get well soon friend.
Same here, whenever I got a feeling that I will be having a fever or slightly sick, I will still go to work as long as I can manage to drive. I'll just take medications immediately. Furthermore, stayng in bed might get the condition worse.

Sometimes at work you are needed so you can't really for a sick leave unless it's that serious that you're very ill. You can also lose your pay when you're at leave. My friend force herself to work today. She was feeling ill with colds and cough. hehehe I think she was able to handle it just fine. She still went to work.
