I try my best to be happy in my life from day to day. It is a constant struggle in this world anymore though but I do try.
What is your life like daily? Is it a struggle or does it have happiness in it with ease?

For me, it is a struggle to be able to find happiness on a day to day basis. I believe that a lot of the reason that it is a struggle for me is because of the fact that I have been through a lot in life and where I used to be an optimist, that is really something that is quite difficult for me these days.
For example though I wanted my best friend's probation to get reinstated today, but in the back of my mind I figured that it wasn't going to happen for her and indeed it didn't, unfortunately.

I guess I am fortunate because I can say that although my life is a daily struggle, there is happiness in it. My usual problem is just money since my partner is unemployed and I am paying for everything in our home, bot to mention the fact that I support 6 relatives financially, including my grandparents who are old and sickly. I would like to earn more money, and that's pretty much what I need. I have good relationships and a job I enjoy. True that I don't often buy nice things or eat fancy food, but I am in a happy state.

I really can't qualify precisely, each day is different from the other with some surprises in between. But whatever my day brings to me, I try to find a small sliver of happiness that I can find and pronounce that this day has been a very happy one. Be it a dish that I have perfected, or a good rating on my response from mylot (lol!), or a bill that was settled in time or my husband's surprise gift even if there's no occasion. I guess this somehow helps me from getting super down in the event that I face a depressing situation. It may not make everything right in its own right, but it sure gives me hope that somehow, something good will still come out of the situation.
So, one day at a time, one little happiness as it happen ;)
