Mission: To gain weight

While a lot of people are trying hard just to loss weight, mine here is that im trying hard just to gain weight. How can i achieve it? I have been eating a lot of carbo, fruits, and more. I am not conscious anymore with sweets. i take all kinds of sweets, but unfortunately for so long i haven't gain weight. Can anybody give me suggestion on how to gain weight.?

It is very easy to gain weight (at least for me) It is good that you have upped your sugar intake but too much sugar can lead to diabetes. You need to have a balance of the carbohydrates,protein,fats which in total leads to an increase in calories. Remember too much of anything can lead to health problems (eg. heart disease if too much fats consumption) and sharp increases of weight in a short period of time is not good for your body either. This was my regime i followed during my teenage days which lead me to having a big belly
MORNING:
Pre-breakfast:
Cup of sweetened beverage (milk with sugar or coffee)
1-2 pieces of bread with margarine or any other spread
Break Fast:
Cereal, Bacon, Eggs or anything that is suitable.
A cup of sweetened beverage
Branch:
Bread or biscuits
Chocolates
AFTERNOON:
Lunch:
Any lunch meal (eat more carbohydrates like white rice)
Fizzy drinks, soda
Desserts like chocolates, ice cream
Tea Break:
Cup of sweetened beverage
Biscuits
Chips
Evening:
Dinner:
Any dinner meal (eat more carbohydrates like white rice)
Desserts
Supper:
Break, biscuits, chocolate cookies with milk
That is about it. However remember everything has a risk to it. Take all those meals in moderation so as to not put a heavy risk on your body's metabolic system

Thank you so much for that. However some of it does not work on me really. My friends noticed already that i eat a lot but i do not gain weight. I am thinking that there is something wrong with me.I consulted a doctor already but no progress at all.

We generally give our children roasted sesame seeds pounded with cardamom and jaggery and make it medium size balls . Give them one banana after break fast and one ripe mango after lunch and in the night before bed time give them one big glass of milk with 1 table spoon honey. They should do kapalbhati pranayam too along with other breathing exercises. This is enough to make them put on weight . kapalbati balances our weight. if a person is over weight it will reduce the excess weight and if a person is underweight this exercise increases his weight thus balancing ones weight .

are you trying to gain fat, or muscle? i mean to stop exercising would do that but this could be unhealthy as well as eating tons of sweets. if you want to gain weight, no one can stop you just try to do it as healthy as possible, if you eat more make sure you do eat fruits and keep your fibre up, vegetables and such. dont completely remove any nutritious foods to swap them for more calories.

Hi dear gerlieann,I have the same problem with you,all of my relatives friends and co-workers tell me that I am so thin,and as a boy it would not give the sense of safety to the girls.So I am trying hard to gain weight now.In my mind,the reason why I so slim may be cause by the great work pressure I have,so may be when I can release the pressure,then I can gain weight.

I think we are the same. I eat a lot but I'm not gaining enough weight. Maybe your metabolism is fast and I think you are still young. But just try to take some supplements. You will more appetite to eat.

Gaining weight?so your slim already, right? hehehe..hmmm..well for me take vegies on your meal too. Having lots of sweets is not good. Maybe you have fast metabolism that's why your figure is like that.If you want to gain fats take lots of fats too..if you want to gain muscles then take protein on meal with proper exercise too...happy lotting :)
