Blogger Hateful Words to Kate Upton

I read a blog attacking Kate Upton's sexy and voluptuous figure and how she was likened to a cow and a pig. The blogger acknowledges preferring skinny aesthetic. Now as I read in a news article the article backfired on the blogger since she's receiving angry mails and threatening her with rape and death. The controversy first began back in June when the blogger wrote that Upton was "confidently lumbering up the runway like there's a buffet at the end of it," and also called her a "little piggie" with "huge thighs, NO waist, big fat floppy boobs, terrible body definition … ." She continued: "Did you know that humans are 80% genetically identical to cows? Well, allow me to prove it to you… ." That line was followed by an unflattering photo of the back of Upton's lingerie-clad body on the runway. A lot of influential people in the fashion industry has risen to Upton's defense. "Running this site where you actually praise women for staying emaciated and skinny and then to go out there and then track someone who has a normal body, I mean, she's got issues," said Lesley Jane Seymour, editor-in-chief of MORE magazine. Online, the hacker group Anonymous launched a cyber attack against the Skinny Gurl website, forcing her to change web hosts. While she acknowledged that she has had her "own issues" with food and eating and that those issues had found their way into the writing on her blog, she noted: "There's nothing wrong with saying skinny is beautiful, just like there's nothing wrong with saying curvy is beautiful, or red hair is beautiful, or anything else someone happens to find appealing. It's an opinion, and we're all entitled to them." I thought first when I was reading the news article that seriously why all the hate of calling Kate Upton a cow and a pig? Yes she's very voluptous and her size is not the normal figure we see in the catwalk but why the hateful words about it? Its not her fault she's in the stage, its the fault of the designer that hired her to represent the line of clothing whatever it is lingerie or clothes. Just saying my piece about the hateful words anyway let's move on. Yes she is right about that everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I don't think that being hateful and negative about other peoples weight is absurd. I was skinny and now I'm overweight but I never looked at the skinny people like why are they doing this to themselves, why don't they eat blah blah blah and like they are going to die blah blah. I don't have an excuse for why I'm overweight right now and actually I'm thankful to this skinny girl who talk "crap" to fat people because if it wasn't for her babbling I wouldn't realize that whatever happened to my size was my fault alone. Although the weight I gain for the past year is because I was on steroids medication due to a skin disorder and my hormonal imbalance, its still not an excuse for me to just let it go. I just hope that if Kate Upton reads this article about her being lambasted it will only make her stronger and maybe make her hit the gym to tone her body.
