I always feel my baby's movement every now and then. At first, I felt really weird about it. But now, I am loving it. It's good to know that he's getting active each day. At night, I just have a problem, and that is how to sleep comfortably. I'm afraid that I might sleep in a position that would hurt him.

Are you on your 2nd trimester? Yeah, the movements get more active and you can feel them and its fun and exciting at the first few weeks or months. But, as the baby grows and your belly also gets bigger, the movements could hurt.
I also had a hard time sleeping and I felt soreness and pain in most parts of my body. The most comfortable was to sleep on my right side. And, shift to the left once in a while. If you sleep on your back, its hard to breathe.

Yes, I am on my second trimester and two more weeks before I enter the last trimester. I also have heartburn so it's really difficult to sleep.

Do drink a lot of water. It helps make you feel better. Although, it would also trigger frequent urination but its healthy and normal for pregnant women to urinate that much in a day due to the pressure on the bladder. I always had a bottle of water beside the bed so I can easily get a sip in the middle of the night when I need to.

I'm a newlywed woman and yet became an instant mom, being pregnant excites me yet somehow scares me. I'm afraid to give labor yet, it made me happy every time I think about the wonderful creation of God and His wisdom..how such human live in my tummy for 9 months and how that big baby get out from my womb..it's amazing to think. Reading your article made me smile cause I can sense your excitement and care towards your baby. I would be hopeful that you would have very healthy baby. God be with you!

I was like you,the first time I felt my daughter,I was frighten. But after I start getting frequent moments,I was loving and my husband always rest his hands on my belly just to feel her move.
It is a wonderful feeling,I did have that problem I was uncomfortable I could not sleep at night no matter what side I sleep on.But has your time is near you will start to sleep comfortable, but you will have a lot of movements though.Try to sleep on your left side that's what my doctor told me .

Baby in the womb are safe whether what position you make when you sleep except lying facing downwards. This will really hurt the baby. They are safe because of the fulid that surrounds them that serves as their cushion inside the tummy. In case they will feel uncomfortable, they will give you a sign like they suddenly kicked. The best position for a pregnant women to sleep is by lying on their left side to avoid the internal organs of the mother being pressed by the baby because most organs are located on the right side.
It was really nice to feel that your baby is moving. When my wife is pregnant, I usually talked to the baby inside and I was really happy to feel his kicks on my face.

Try sleeping on your side, it worked for me. Feeling your baby's movement is such an amazing feeling. Almost unbelievable that a person is really growing inside you. Enjoy your pregnancy and have a safe delivery.
