hello, since you're interested with adobo, why dont you give this a try then, you'll need chicken/pork onion soy sauce bay leaf vinegar red/green bell pepper Just combine all ingredients together in a pan, cook it and thats it, that would make a perfect dish for you.

It's definitely a great meal. Just make sure you watch how much vinegar you add in -- too much, will make it way to sour. I generally use about a cup of vinegar, and a cup and a half of soy sauce. I add pepper, and make a pot of rice to serve it over. Chicken drumsticks work really well. I usually cook it until the meat falls off. I've never heard over pork adobo before-- haven't tried it either. I don't eat pork.

I make Chicken Adobo at least 3x a month. Lol, we grew up on this meal. I'm bi-racial, but my grandmother is Guamanian. She taught me how to prepare it. It's my favorite meal especially with rice.
