Here Making money or making friendship...confused!

Who cares what our main purpose is for coming in here? As long as we do not violate any rule and we're having fun, learning and making friends in the process, no matter if you're here for the money or whatever, I say just do your thing. Participate, discuss, anything goes. :)

I don't blame you for getting confused since you are still very new to this site. Let me welcome you to this wonderful mylot. I was there in your situation before when I was still a greenhorn in mylot. I really couldn't connect myself with this site as I couldn't really understand the working of the site. But I slowly picked up tips from the seniors and their friendliness kept me glued to mylot without realizing that I am coming to my sixth year in mylot and still going. Be patient, you will soon realize that there is more to making money or friendship in mylot as at the end of the day you will come out more polished...I mean more knowledgeable as the inputs from people from all over the places are something beneficial that can add a lot to our knowledge bank.

I agree to most r replies, we are here for different reasons, Im here for all the reasons. I have other social networks too, but mylot gives us incentives for making comments and sharing what we know to others. On the other hand we are also learning from others. This is a great site to be in. thanks mylot!

I do not come here primarily to make money. I love talking and learning English. But at the same time Mylot offer a little bit of insentive. So, the more the merrier. :)

Hi viju, it is entirely upto as to how to use mylot as long as you follow rules and regulations.Mylot is a site where you can interact,start discussions of your own ,make friends and also earn some money...you can also upload pictures and earn or do tasks and earn.Once you settle down here, you will be able to understand it better - all the best and have a great weekend

airportviju: Are you working in airport? This forum helps us earn a few dollars plus get a lot of friends. you get lot of ideas on various things. This should not be depended for full time earning if you are young. if you are old say 60+ then it is ok.

Welcome to have fun participating in the interesting activities available here airportviju I believe people who are good in language, one hour is enough for him or her to type some posts here daily. It's impossible for us to join in all the activities here, just pick those which you can handle nicely and join in during your free time. I don't have much time to type post here and I'm happy that I usually could reach my minimum payout every couple months. Yeah, this is the great site to meet people in common interests as well I could acquire countless of latest info and new knowledge. My language and typing skill have improved too Happy posting

airportviju hi making bugs is not something I would like as they could sting or bit me. but bucks yes I earn at least twenty bucks every month and also have a wonderful group of my lot friends that I stay in touch with through responses and comments and my own discussions. so making friends and earning money and enjoying and having fun at my lot all can be done simultaneously with a lot of participation. I value my friendships here first and foremost but I use my earnings and where else can you get paid for having fun.I think that friendship and earnings go hand in hand here . its not an either or type of situation.

You can do both here in myLot. It's like hitting too birds at a time. You can meet new friends and you can earn too. But to earn you'll have to work for it. Aside from making friends and earning extra, the best thing that myLot could offer is the learning that you can get through posting and replying to discussions. Cheers and welcome to myLot!

Well both things walk hand by hand. Making money here needs activity. The activity must be quality so you to earn better. Somewhere in the middle you realize that you can't stay away of the personal emotions of people who follow your topics, you are learning things about them and you become friends. So both are mixed, if you want to succeed here, you must accept it. If you focus on the side for making more money, it will not be that pleasing for you, believe me.

The answer of this question is that What you want. If you wana make money then make it and if want to have friends then talk to them and don't look at the earning. simple ;)

I think the two topics are not conflicting, you can discuss with others and make more friends, on the other hand you also can get some money from here. I will not view Mylot as just a 'money making machine', because I know I can't earn much money from here and I don't want to see posting response as a work, this will make me feel tired...

both happens here...you get to make new friends at the same time you get to earn. at first, i was enticed with the fact that i could get money in here; but days after, i almost forgot about the money, what i care about now is the insights i get to learn from people around the world. besides, this is a good training ground for me before i could start my own blog site, something which i have long been dreaming of. so there you go, make posts or responses as much as you can. good luck!
