A friend of mine has been suspected to steal the cashier seed money during the weekend.
It is a relief that her boss just talk to her and other list of person suspected of stealing.
The company bought CTV so they can monitor the office. My friend is deeply sad for 2 weeks. Do you think what is the best thing she should do?

I think anyone who'd be suspected of stealing would be deeply sad. I'd probably be sad too knowing that people might be thinking or spreading gossips about me because the boss talked to me.
What she could do is to do with all her might to clear her name. I think this is what's important to anyone who became a suspect to such an incident. But she shouldn't be afraid to speak out if she didn't really do anything wrong. But she must be careful as well, perhaps the person who did it might pin it on her.
What you could do as a friend is to be there for support. Some people want to talk about these things, while others would want to talk about other things. You figure out what she needs and be supportive.
My uncle was also into this type of thing before. He was accused of stealing and they came about courts and stuff. It was really something that's terrifying for him because he didn't get anything out of it at all. He was even wishing that he did get the money at least the stress was worth it. In the end, the company proved that he wasn't the culprit and he cleared his name. It was really stressful. But at least he proved and cleared his name.
Have a great Mylot experience ahead!

I believe your friend should forget about the incident if she wants to continue working there. Now with the newly installed cctv system then it should be safer and who ever did the stealing would not be able to do the same thing again. You as her friend should really spend time with her, talk to her and advises her about what needed to be done.

Hi,
Your friend is sad because she did not take the money and was suspected or because she's sad that someone in her group took the money and got them all into trouble? Put yourself in the boss' shoes. Would you be disappointed if one of your trusted staff took the money? Since he could not pinpoint the culprit as no one owned up the next best thing he could do is to install a CCTV.

well...if i am the boss, i will not suspect her. Why?
1. I should know what kind of employees i have
2. I am well aware whom to choose to handle the cash collection
3. I had made a program that could avoid such happening.

It is completely normal if your friend is sad. Everyone with clear conscience would be like that.
If they can monitor the office, why they ask all of the list of people? DO they have cams there to see who actually touched the money?
Or probably it's all test about honesty and who has contact with the money and also who would dare to steal even a part of them.

she is really sad and she was in that mood for 5weeks until she became okey. my wife talk to her and she's getting okey slowly.
her motto now, "always be honest but not loyal".
the cam was install after the incident.

Is she innocent and clear regarding the accusations? I think you should support her, it's good that she didn't loose her job. I imagine that when the manager makes a list of people that he doesn't trust, then it feeld weird and sad to be on that list. But one of the persons in the list has really done it so if your friend has nothing to do with it, then she shouldn't worry!
It's normal to suspect everyone if something is stolen, I guess that this is what we would all do if we were in the manager's position in order to find the person that's responsible.
