My Mom Don't Allow Me To Cut My Hair... :(

Hi friend, most of the traditional girls and mum are not interested in cutting the hair, good to hear that you have a long hair, you must be proud about it, not every girls are blessed to have a long hair, some girls are worrying a lot about their short hair. Don't give importance to the fashion and trend and give importance to your mother's word. Don't try to trick and cheat her, by doing this you are cheating your self. Elders are always caring about us and our parents have lot of love, care and affection with us than any other persons and our friends.

hi dassodils for goodness sakes how come you have to let your hair grow that long to p;lease mom. here in the US we are considered adults at age 18 and we sure as heck w ould not let mom stop us from getting a haircut.tell om you are a grown woman and ned to have a new hair style.tell her in the Us at 18 we do not have to' obey our mom s ideas about hair and cltothing. we are adu lgts.hair that long cou ld make your neck hurt., tell home she is being old fashioned and that you are now an adult.

We all like to keep up with fashion when we are young.It all depends on how upset it will make her.Think very carefully before you take yourself off to the hairdresser as once it is gone,it is too late.It will take ages to grow back.I have seen your picture and your hair is lovely.I agree with your mum.Don't worry about fashions to much.

Why cut the hair if it is not bothering you much. Okay you want to follow the trend, but you will make your parents upset. Well, maybe you can tell your father that you want some changes, and later you will grow your hair longer again. Tell him you just want to change your look for sometime and that's only for once. Not bad for a bargain, but you have to fulfill your promise after.

May I ask if you don't mind...Why do your mother forbid you from cutting short your hair? Is it because of customs or religion?

Hello. I dreamed about longer hair since I was kid, but I had lots of problems brushing it. It was extremely painful for me. When I grow up I started cutting my hair often. I like myself more with the short hair instead of long one. It's all because of the type of face, actually how you would look with the haircut, not so much about fashions. Believe me, the fashion may change every day, but it doesn't mean every haircut would fit for everyone. Make your hair the way you feel it more comfortable. Right now I started growing longer hair and I feel awful, all my neck is burning, because it's summer and it's too hot for a neck covered with that long hair.

Girls with long hairs are really attractive to see that is why your mother wanted you to look cute and very feminine.You are still with fashion because even if you do not cut your hair you are still in the fashion,yet you have to be in the trendy clothing so that every girl your age could copy what you have done.You are now the fashion figure.

I think you should listen to your mom. She knows what's best for you and I know she wants you to look pretty and all. I don't think you should cut your hair too just because it's the new fashion. Beauty is in the inside not the out. I used to have really long and curly hair and when I had it cut really short I was so sad I even cried because I didn't like it. I thought it was so boyish and I wished I never cut it. Please don't cut it. I think girls with long hair are more beautiful than those with short hair. I don't really care about the new fashions and stuff like that and what my friends are doing. You are not your friends, you are you. I wish you would listen to your mom and not try to trick her out of it. An obedient daughter is more beautiful than a girl in the newest fashion.

There are some women who prefers to have long hair especially the students. They like it more when it's shoulder length because it's easier to manage. There are also some who prefers it short just to go with the trend or to be in with fashion I think your Mom like the way your hair is, maybe because to her you looked prettier with long hair.Since you are asking for suggestion on how to convince your Mom to allow you to cut your hair, do tell her that it will take time to clean and rinse your hair, unlike if it's shorter.

Hairs play a major role in the beauty of a person, especially on girls. I came to know that it is very difficult to get a long thick hairs. My sister has short hairs. She is trying to make them longer. She is making use of many oils but nothing is helping her much. I think you need not to cut the hairs. Just listen to you mother. You must convince them but telling the truth about the modern changes and the activities about different people. People now-a-days did not have much hair. I think long hair is beautiful. It is a womans glory. I am Pentecostal and my hair is at my mid back because of my beliefs. So maybe just ask your momma why she doesnt allow you to cut your hair, might be the way she was raised or she thinks its to pretty to cut.

Well, there is a simple trick, used by kids, everywhere, since the age of caves to get something, it is called, "Drive Your Mother Crazy" . Insist, instist, and insist again, always with love and respect, of course, remember that everything she does, does it because she loves you, but, eventually, she will allow you to cut your hair. Perhaps, you can also give a little, and not cut it too short, that way, would be easier, I supose.

I had the opposite problem growing up. My mom wanted me to have short hair because she always did. I hated having short hair and now that I am older my hair takes forever to grow long. I keep on getting split ends and need to get it cut soon, but I cannot afford it right now. How short do you want to cut your hair? Ha ha ha If your mom don't allow you to cut your hair, my mom wants me to cut my hair! I have long hair too down to my waist and every time she sees me, she would ask me to cut my hair. She would tell me that I am look like a witch and she didn't like it. I didn't follow her and I said, "I don't want to cut my hair because this is my hair". Of course I said to her in a nice way. You can tell her of what you feel because its just a hair and there's nothing she can do if she sees you with a short hair. My mom is also not allow the cut the hair because in our community girl is not allow the cut the hair. My most of the friends cuts their hair and they looks like good.

hi, actually there are some parents do not allowing their children to cut their hair,like my brother he have a daughter and he would never let her daughter to cut to to shorten her hair.maybe my brother wanted her daughter stay long hair.

Haha, maybe you can cut your hair first and then tell your mother. She will be happy if she sees your beautiful with short hair.
