Do you like accepting gifts on your birthday?

hey guys!
It is a common scene of receiving gifts on your birthday. You get chocolates, cakes, photo frames, shoes, bags, etc as gifts on your birthday. i get excited when i get any gift from my near and dear ones. in fact every year i look forward to getting new gifts on my birthday eve.
How excited are you when you receive gifts from you near and dear ones? Please have you say..

I don't expect them but, when i get them i make sure and thank the person for the gift and tell them i really appreciate it and they didn't have to get me anything.

Hey thanks a ton for your response. yes so nice to hear about your kind gesture. We should thank the people who present us gifts on our birthdays as they were so sweet that they could find time for us to select a gift on our birthday.

It was so great to hear about your kind act of giving away the gifts to the poor children who are always desperate to get any kind of help from us. I hope people like u keep inspiring us like this.

yes very true. It feels bad to expect gifts from your near and dear ones but we cannot help also. This is because even if we insist not to accept the gifts they still come up with some gifts and we have to accept it. But without gifts a celebration looks incomplete as it is quite weird to go to a party empty handed.
