problem with my yahoo mail

A couple of weeks ago, my husband's yahoo was hacked and he was being booted off continuously with a prompt that he logged on to another device. I, on the other hand, received some mails from our former professor asking for 2 grand. I think yahoo is having some security problems, I suggest you try to upgrade your security questions and change your password ASAP. That's what we did before my husband's account became fully inaccessible.

I have not had a problem with getting into Yahoo mail, but I do know people that have. It's also probably a good idea to try it with different browsers to see if that helps.

I am having problems with my Yahoo mail. I can read several emails and then it slows way down and I often have to log out and sign in again. I hope they resolve the problem soon.

If you have had the same email for a while (like years, although I'm not sure how long ago it was for sure) it may be on a list of emails that were sold/leaked by a former Yahoo employee. I have had mine for about five, maybe six years, and it was one of the "compromised" accounts. I haven't had any trouble with my actual email but accounts where I'd used that email to register (Hulu, eBay, Woot, Amazon....) reset my password and I had to go in and change it to something new because of this list. Like I said, it hasn't affect my email access but that might be what is causing your problem if you've had the account for several years.

Have you tried using a different browser? Clearing cookies?
