Usually the hotel's i have been to they give complimentary breakfast to all its guests. The complimentary breakfast is a buffet spread with dishes from local cuisine and various foreign cuisines. I would say the breakfast is pretty good and filling since its a buffet. And it makes you so full that you can actually stay out for quite some before heading somewhere for lunch. Also after i wake up during my holidays, i will be lazy during the morning so it is easier for me to eat breakfast at the hotel's restaurant.

That is quite shocking. If you are away on a holiday you should choose a hotel that is nearby to the cities so that traveling time will not be a pain. I always pick hotels that are near attraction places so that i could always walk to nearby attractions and don't have a need to call a cab

Most of the time I will not eat at the hotel restaurant. As usually it is much more expensive. And it is boring to stay in the hotel all the time. As to me, hotel is a place to sleep and have a shower only. I will like to go out as more as I can to have new experience.

Well, some hotels do provide some good meals, I have to say. For instance, I have tried buffet breakfast and buffet dinner in some good hotels, and they serve a really quality and delicious food. Sometimes, we do choose hotels for our dinner if there's any special events.

I used to eat free breakfast and snacks in the hotel restaurant because most of the hotel serving their native foods and foreign foods which I really like. But for my lunch and dinner I preferred to go out and search for the good restaurant or even a small food chain for the local food not only to save money but also to experience the place and people living around the area.

We usually eat at the hotel right after we just checked in. By this time everyone's too famished to even walk and scout for the local fares haha! But right after that, the next meals for the whole duration of our stay will be outside, sampling the local cuisine and I believe, saving more as compared if we eat at the hotel restaurant.

Oh, I like to eat in some street-restaurants though sometimes I have some worries about their environmental conditions. I just couldn't refuse the temptation of delicious food. I also very enjoy kinds of foods when traveling to different places.

I imagine that you talk about what you do when you are not at home. I usually stay at aparthotels and make my own breakfast. I will eat out if I´m sightseeing or just going on a spree. I prefer local food: I love to know what different people eat. I hope it is different from what I cook at home.

We don't have the opportunity to stay in hotels very often because of the fact that we are simply not able to afford to stay away from the house right now. However, when my husband and I were married eight years ago, we went to Miami, Florida for our honeymoon and we stayed at a very nice hotel. The hotel had a very nice restaurant and we did take the opportunity to eat at the restaurant at the hotel on one of the nights that we were there. On all of the other nights, we did eat at different restaurants outside of the hotel so that we could try a lot of the different local flavors.

I did not intentionally eat at hotel restaurants. I just eat there whenever there are seminars and conventions attended. Eating in a hotel restaurant just to eat local foods is not that practical. It will costs you much. You can have those local foods in your home or even in fancy food places.
