be reminded that there is a lot of difference between snapshots and photographs.
snapshots are type of shot that you do with your camera for the sake of taking a picture. while a photograph is the art of taking a picture meaning there are things you have to consider like your frame, the lights, the timing, the subject and the interest in the photograph. in photography you are mathematically calculate your subject in relation to its background. and yes in photography you do use calculations especially if you are dealing with the lights.
so in relation with your first question when do i usually take photographs? during golden hours it's when the sun is setting at the horizon and give that golden yellow lights. it's really good for any photography because your light isn't that hard and you won't have that flat lighting. it gives you this soft light that has shadows that adds interest to the subject.
i hope i help you some how.

if you really want to know more about digital photography or photography in general just check out digital-photography-school(dot)com it's really a good blog site. they will teach you for apertures to ISO or shutter speeds. they will also give inputs to how to compose an image. it's really a great place to learn.

i always take photo when i go out with my friends to exotic places at time and even sometime ,if i am free i always hangout with them and take some cool snaps for sure .they are the best and i recommend to everyone to take and have a glimpse at it later.
The photography also depends on my mood and this entirely depends if i am interested in some cool places which not other people or my friends would have visited.i would grab it and also if its a place with good environmental setting with delightful nature.i would surely take a photograph.
its always a nice chance for us to cherish those living moments of life together and we share a great deal of fun in it

I usually take photos when I am on vacation in some native land. You just can't help but marvel at the stunning views that you will see. You also can't help but to take a picture of it and capture that beautiful scenery in your camera so that you can share it to others when you upload it online.

If we dont have a snapshot of any moment, we have to repent for it. Once I have deleted my baby's video and stil Im banging my head on wall.
So we must capture all kind of scences and can keep them in cyber space. Because I dont believe you lol, you may incidentally get disgusted enough to think these photos worthless.
We must save all rare and dear scences of moments from being lost. May be these captured scences will inspire us live long.
Anyway can anyone tell me where is that online photo library in where I can store my photos for centuries.

I used to always bring my dslr in my purse because I get inspired easily, anytime. I would hate to miss a certain scene by not being ready to capture it as it unfolds before me. But now, my purse is such a mess and my shoulders are protesting with the weight, so now I only bring my camera when we have an important occasion to attend to.

I take my camera any time I am doing something noteworthy. I don't always remember to use it in those situations but at least I brought it!
My favorite thing ever is to take pictures at concerts. I don't get to go to too many of them (more than a lot of people, not nearly as many as most people I know) but when I do, especially now that my camera has a multi-shot function so I can just hold down the shutter button and snap until I let it go, I take tons of pictures. With my old camera or my phone it was usually 50-100 shots. The last show I went to with my new camera I got 900! Of course only a handful were worth keeping because of motion blurs and whatnot (or I got a whole set of just the stage or lights HAHA) but I got a lot more really good action shots that way. People in mid jump and things like that. I know people think that's cheating but if I don't cheat I forget to pay attention and don't get anything.
