What's in your bag/purse?

Let's face it: it's hard for us ladies to leave the comforts of our home without arming ourself with our ever dependable bags. They all come in all shapes and sizes, some more expensive than the other, some are branded, others are generic. But whatever kind of bag you wish to carry, it totally screams of your personality and tastes.
But on the inside, that's where the differences start. We all have different lives, different roles, different priorities. On a daily basis, I usuall have the following on my bag: wallet, wet wipes, comb, blackberry, iTouch, checkbook, pens, hand sanitizer, coin purse, earphones, bag hook, rosary, writing pad, sugar-free gums, tissue, sunglasses, kabuki brush, pressed powder, lip balm, lotion, keys, umbrella, hanky, body mist and post-it's. Pretty boring huh?
How about you? What do you bring on a daily basis? Are you like me who practically needs to bring the whole house sometimes? :)

I am a lady so, a bag is a necessity. In my bag, I never miss to bring my wallet, identification cards, may handkerchief, phone, a notepad and pen, my mirror, loose powder, lipstick and eyeshadow and eyeliner and of course tissue. I guess those are my necessities. :)

I am a lady as well, but I do not remember ever putting makeup in my bag.. oh wait, just lipstick which could last for 3 years because I always forget to use it lol I put on lip balm most of the time because the cold weather makes my lips go dry. :)

I also used to bring the stuff you mentioned, but lately I have to tone down on the make up. I start getting rid of the tweezers first and a separate mirror, since my compact has its own mirror already. Now I only have the essentials: a retractable kabuki brush, pressed powder or foundation, lipstick that I'm wearing that day and lip balm.
My husband says I don't need all these "crap", but what do men know about womanly stuff like purses? Pft!
LOL!

In the past I would bring so much stuff in my bag including nail clippers and tweezers, a water bottle, and an extra blouse or shirt. That was because back then I was out most of the time so I need to have everything I need with me. My motto then was "omnea mea mecum porto---I carry with me all my things." Now I have toned down. I have the usual stuff women have, so I'll just name the things that probably not all have: a travel toothbrush and toothpaste, oil-blotting paper, medicine box (painkillers, paracetamol, meds for colds, hyperacidity, diarrhea, you name it!) usb cell phone charger, petroleum jelly, and my planner and pen (and extra pen.)

Let's just say there have been instances wherein skin below the nails would peel down and would annoy me all day. Pulling them won't work, they have to be cut by clippers. Tweezers are for the eyebrows, since sometimes you would just notice a single strand in the wrong place and would like to pluck it out.

Why do you always bring a tweezers and nail clippers? I just wondering. When i am going to office, i always bring a medicine kit too , for paracetamol, colds and vitamins. Then a cosmetic pouch for toothpaste, toothbrush, toothpick and napkin. Same as you Katcarneo. That's why Big Bag is my favorite. :)

Omgosh, I used to lug around tweezers and nail clippers too haha! Even if I'm just going to be out to run a few errands I will still take it with me. I've been trying to keep more organized and I'm starting with my bag. I do admit that most of the time, I can't even use half of the crap I bring, but for some unknown reasons, they still end up in my bag. :)

Made me wonder what I stuff my cheap sling bag with. Let's see...phone charger, phone, hand sanitizer, lip balm, coin purse/wallet, several pens, keys, hairbrush, a pair of gloves just in case the weather decides to just chill (lol), my passport, and code words book. If you think yours is boring, try mine. I am a lady, too, but I like to keep it simple. :) When I travel elsewhere, I stuff my netbook in my bag, but that doesn't happen often.

I would like to have a big bag as I would like to put in it everything that I might need in the office. Pen, make-up kit, handkerchief, water, wallet, cellphone, umbrella and almost anything that might fit in.

I'm also a big fan of large bags, like tote bags or shopping bags styles. I'm not really a big girl so when I say big it means big enough for me :) I also don't like my stuff to be squished or cramped in my bag and since I carry lots of stuff, big bags just work for me.

My bag usually contains the stuff that I really need to bring and those that are brought just in case of emergencies. Since most of the time, I go out to attend my classes, I bring my paper, notebook, pens, scientific calculator. I also have a tumbler of water with me. Of course, I can't leave the house without my cell phone and wallet. I am not much into make up since I do not usually use it, but I could get to bring a lipstick and sometimes baby powder (and my friends would get surprised whenever they happen to see me bringing it out of my bag. hahaha). I could also bring a book I am currently reading so I could avoid getting bored when commuting or during waiting hours... :)

Hi friend,
That is a long list of things you carry in your purse!I am still studying, so I take my note book, a pen, my water bottle, lunch box, a comb, hand sanitizer, cell phone, umbrella, purse and handkerchief in it. I also carry sanitary napkins if needed or round about that time. I change my bag every week as I like to take a different one as the week passes. We have long hours of class with a half an hour break in between, so by the time I return home, my water bottle and lunch box are empty and some of the weight of the bag is reduced.

From the way you said it, I think you always bring a large tote bag. I love using those kinds of bags. My bag would have my wallet, mobile phone, coin purse, hair brush, facial tissues, hand sanitizer, cologne, pens, small notebook, small towel, hair clips, lipstick, powder, vanity mirror, ipod, reading glasses, gums or candies. If I am going out with my youngest son, then i bring along his extra shirt, towel and cologne.

Most of the time I don't even bring a bag. On occasoin I will bring a small one. When I don't carry one I just have my waller, phone and keys. When I do bring one is has a bottle of water, umbrella when it's going to rain. It's winter here so I take a scarf and beanie too

Haahaa! Truth be told I'm just not much of a girl and I can't be bothered carrying a bag full of stuff. I don't really wear makeup so don't need all that, I use lip balms and depending where I'm going will bring that with me too when my lips are dry. Oh and sometimes I'll put a snack in my bag like a banana or some biscuits if I'm going somewhere with no food or expensive food. Forgot about that
I just carry essentials for the most part and the 3 I mentioned before are wallet, keys and phone. If I haven't brought anything else with me I'm OK, I survive
In the end what do you really need in your bag? What can you do without? I'm sure there are a few things you can take out to lighten the load of yours

Oh speaking of minis, you know those complimentary stuff provided by hotels? I always take these back with me because they are in tiny cute containers which I can refill later on,plus, they're just the right size to fit my make up kit or toiletries bag. It drives the hub crazy that I swipe them all in my bag but I don't care, I want to think that it's part Of what were paying for.

When I am going to school, I always have a bag so I can put my books and my pens. I always have my lip balm and my powder. I cannot go out without those two. They are like my essential make up. There are times that I forget to bring these and I have a horrible time at school since I would feel like I need to retouch my makeup and I do not have them.

Hi friend,
Are you allowed to wear makeup in school? I am surprised to know this as we had a tough time in school if we even had a loose strand of hair on our face. We had to tie neat pony tails or keep our hair short. I studied in a convent and there was a lot of emphasis on discipline there, so much so that I wished I could finish school fast. Every day after the morning assembly, we were made to line up and our nails were checked in case they were not cut or got nail paints on them. We could not wear any earrings that dangled outside the ear lobe. Lip balms could never even be thought of by us girls in school. There were punishments for the minutest of things!
