Criticizing country on a global plaform: Correct?

I hope the discussion subject must have conveyed more or less the gist of my discussion. I want to raise various issues in relation to the country I live in. Some are good whereas some issues are somewhat criticizing in nature. I feel proud to be a citizen of my country,on the other hand I am unhappy with the other side of the coin. So before I add A discussion like that, I want you to advice me, is it correct for me to criticize my country on a global platform like mylot. Would you do that to your country? Views are invited.

I think it's ok to give some constructive critism. You can also site some negative ones but as much as possible you have to give ways on how to solve them. It should not be all about negative ones but also positive ones.

I think you coined a very appropriate term for my discussion, CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. The only thing I feel I will have to take care is of presenting my discussions in a constructive manner. It will try to put it a way so that at no point it seems that I am in anyway against my nation. Thank You

I also criticizing my own country especially in the bad side, it's because I'd like to show how bad it is so that if anyone read it, he gains understanding that it is bad and should not attempt to do. in some aspects of beliefs, inequality, in-justice, morality, etc. I'm always criticizing those, but some are to defensive enough but its almost like hiding, a response because of guilt. so if too many people always criticizing the same as mine, they will somehow hold some pride of themselves that "I shown that I am good, why am I gonna do bad things". it is a simple way to minimize problems around us, first we have to be aware of it, and being aware of it leads to understanding that will be a key to solve various problems.

Thank you for putting your views in. I opened up this discussion with a kind of hesitation, Will I be doing justice to my citizenship by criticizing my nation on a platform like this? Won't it create a bad image of my nation on outside users?
But on the other hand, I agree with your views too. Pointing out some negative things about our own nation, not in a way to blame, but as a problem to fight will do no harm. Infact getting views from all over the globe may actually help me understand that some issues not only prevail in my country but are a real problem globally as well. Thank You

Yes I too think its fine, and now I feel it more matters on how I present it. Just cursing throughout will also be not a good thing. What doubt I was having can be solved by a clever presentation. Thank You for your words.
