George Zimmerman Says Killing Trayvon Was God's Plan

Months ago, 17-year-old Trayvon Martin is stalked and murdered by self-elected neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman. Zimmerman alleges he had shot and killed Trayvon Martin in self-defense because his stalking victim had assaulted him; citing Florida’s dubious Stand Your Ground Law. Recorded conversation between 911 agent and George Zimmerman also reveal an amicable relationship between 911 agent and Zimmerman who is known to report to 911 frequently, but no report of allege assault by Trayvon Martin on George Zimmerman. Interestingly, George Zimmerman is said to be a criminal justice scholar. If anyone in this case had legit claim to Stand Your Ground Law, then it was Trayvon Martin, who was stalked and unjustly harassed for being where he has legal right to be: On public easement. I believe in defending myself, my family and my property, but have no right to harass and/or unjustly take the life of anyone merely using a public easement. Florida’s Stand Your Ground Law gives no license to kill people you first provoked. And while such self-defense laws are permissible, all actors invoking such laws bear the burden of proof. Hours ago, George Zimmerman in an interview with conservative talk host Sean Hannity said it was God's plan to kill Trayvon Martin and he, Zimmerman, has no regrets - http://mybrownbaby.com/2012/07/george-zimmerman-says-killing-trayvon-martin-was-part-of-gods-plan-and-he-doesnt-regret-it As said months ago when the Trayvon martin case first went public, I am of the opinion that George Zimmerman is either a simpleton, is very stupid, or is just plain hate-driven. In any case, I think George Zimmerman is more likely a simpleton and was directly or indirectly coached to harass people by those around him who knew of his mental state. Thus, the coaches of George Zimmerman - State of Florida, Sanford police department, Gun Licensing Department (who all deputized mentally disabled Zimmerman) and his parents (who failed to restrain a mentally disabled child) should be held liable for the murder of Trayvon Martin. No one should be deserving of death for merely walking down the streets of the US, or streets of any nation in Planet Earth. But again, this is not the first time some religious nutcase has claimed he/she committed a crime because God told him/her to do so. Just who do you think is the god of George Zimmerman? Yes, Sanford, Florida (who both deputized a mentally imbalanced) and his parents (who failed to restrain their mentally disabled son).

All I am going to say is I do not know why these people go on TV and start answering questions when they are getting ready to go on trial. I have yet to see anyone help their cause by doing this. As far as the God comment. That is just what people do to make themselves feel better. I do not know how anyone can say Gods plan is for us to kill other peoples children. That being people who believe in God.

That is what I took out of it. Apparently he thinks it was because if he was given a second chance he more or less said he would of handled it the exact same way. Who in their right mind would be OK with killing someone if they did not have to especially a kid. To me the guy is just a wee bit off in the head. It definitely did not help his cause.

If you think about the whole situation as he described it. That whole situation could of been avoided. Zimmerman could of waited and just let the police handle it, but he had to take things in his own hands. Zimmerman created his own mess.

The title of the publication says it all. It is an AFrican-American publication giving a black point of view. I think that they might have taken the statement out of context. Oh and at 17, I doubt Mr. Martin looked like an innocent black kid as the first photos portrayed him as when he really was 12. Since Zimmerman was a member of the neighborhood watch, he had a perfect right to see that no one was there who should not be there and if people dressed in hoodies was robbing that neighborhood, he would not have known that Trayvon was innocent. I also read and heard that there was a fight and that Zimmerman got banged in the head. If Trayvon had just talked and if both young men had just talked and explained things, it would not have gotten this far.

He did not say it was God's plan to kill Trayvon Martin. Sheesh, did you listen to the interview? Probably not, you just read some edited bits that someone foamed at the mouth over. Did you know that Zimmerman took a lie detector test the night he was arrested and he passed? He made two statements to the police, one while he re-enacted. Everything matched. No inconsistencies. Zimmerman told the truth. Zimmerman did not say God told him to kill Trayvon. Zimmerman simply stated that what is happening to him must be God's plan.

Read above. I don't want to type it twice. Your last paragraph says it all - IMO People cannot be convicted in a court of law based on your opinion, only on evidence. You obviously have not reviewed the evidence. Well, except for the parts you made up.

Zimmerman did not take a lie detector test, he took a "stress level" test which measures your stress level after certain pertinent questions are asked of you. These tests are not admissible in a court of law and will have no bearing on Zimmerman's guilt or innocence regarding the shooting. Secondly i do not understand how or why you would post such obvious misconceptions and some really downright falsehoods , such as ("Everything matched. No inconsistencies. Zimmerman told the truth".) which is far from the truth. Zimmerman has at the very least told 3 different versions of what transpired that evening, the first was to the Sanford Police the night he was taken into custody, which after hearing this version caused the lead detective in this case Det Serino to suggest Zimmerman be arrested for Manslaughter stating his story just wasn't consistent with the facts and that the whole situation could have been avoided if Zimmerman had just stayed in his truck. i will not go into the walk through version he did with the police the day after the shooting nor the interview he did with Hannity, but if you would take the time and compare all 3 of these you would learn what the prosecution has based their very case on, and it's this, i quote."contradictory" and "inconsistent" statements made by this defendant that does NOT match with the evidence in this case" IMO,Zimmemran is a liar and a murderer as well his own words will ultimately be his downfall also his SYG defense is a joke since as Netbridge has said you cannot claim SYG when you are the initial aggressor as Zimmerman most certainly was.
