it was like it was yesterday....

Glancing through facebook and finding different people and looking at some friends lists, I managed to find my friends kids from way back, I followed the kids and found a friend I haven't seen since Public School. We lost touch as she was having children and I was still out having fun with other friends.
We have managed to connect up and it feels like it was only yesterday that we last spoke. I love finding friends from the past that for some reason or another have parted ways and feeling like we were never apart.
Have you had such an experience? How did you find your past friends?

Yes I have had that luck with a few people that I have become reaquainted with but in this instance she moved west and I moved east, so we are a distance apart but her family lives near me so we have had the chance to meet up that way.

hi,
actually i have many friends in my Facebook account and some of them was my batch mate at high school,though they are not close to me we were still familiar to each other,i found them through Facebook and even them they found me using their Facebook account too.

I had a pair of really good friends that I met when I was in college and we parted ways when I was twenty years old. I have to admit that there wasn't a day that went by when I didn't think about them, however for many years, try as I might, I was not able to track them down.
So, a year and a half ago, I decided to look for them one more time. I started off searching their names on facebook and I had no luck. Well, I finally decided that my girlfriend might have been married by this time (which she was) and I started searching for her brother. I found an unfortunate listing about him (two of his kids had been recently killed in a house fire). It was through reading the obituary that I was able to find out Ang's married name. I then took that information and searched her married name on facebook and found her. A few days later she accepted my friend request and we chatted some through facebook. I gave her my phone number and we talked a lot on the phone and now we are hanging out together all the time.

Yes. I have experienced this and as a matter of fact I really got surprised that some of my elementary classmates had changed a lot physically. Reuniting with people you have not seen for so long is refreshing even if its on Facebook or other social media sites.

Indeed we have too many friends that we don't contact with each other everyday, Just as you say, I often know their situation through facebook. Internet is really convient.

Yes I have such experience as yours,my situaton is,after I graduate from university and began to work,I need to rent a room to live,one day I just walk a round near my house and suddenly I hear a man call my name,so I look back and find a man who face is familar but I can not recall what is his name,it is a little embarrass first but after he come to me and tell me what is his name I finally find out that he is my junior school classmate,then we have a lunch and talk about our school day life,it make me to recall those wonderful and full of happiness time,I really miss my school time,what about you?
