I would like to know when is the slow season for Southeast Asia countries and I think it is better to travel there at that time. Since everything will be less expensive and it will not be so crowded. I like the Southeast Asia countries because there are many beautiful beaches available.

Good for you!You seem to have many opportunities to go abroad for a holiday trip.Nowadays your son has already had summer vacation,so it is the opportune moment for you to go abroad.

The slow season, or what we refer to as "off-peak season" here in the Philippines is during the rainy season, which is right now. Rains will come in June, get really bad in July and August, and sometimes until September. October is peak season once again. There may still be some rain.
Right now it's July and on some days it is as hot as summer and you're lucky if you're hitting our beaches on days like that. However, now there's a storm and I heard in the news that the storm reached out famous Boracay beach (crawling with tourists pretty much all year round) and I can't help but feel bad for those who are vacationing there right now who are probably just cooped up in their hotel rooms.

If you go to the Philippines in July and August, usually you will get cheaper accommodations and tour packages.

Here in Malaysia, people like to have their vacation on school holiday which on Mac, June, September and end of the year. If it is about slow season I would say from July to October. You can log on to our local tourism websites for more details.(^^)

Bikini !!! This is the first thing coming into my mind when considering travelling in Southeast Asia countries. Certainly, as to Thailand, i will pass it.
Joke apart, as far as i am concerned, winter is the slow season, which range from November to March next year. And it is not very exact because Chinese go to travel whenever vacation is available. May you have fun on the trip!
