Does anyone know about the green petrol?

Recently few years research is going on an alternative to Petrol. There were some research on creating an alternative petrol from some trees or remains of some fruits like orange skin. Do you think such alternative petrol options will help the reducing of the petrol prices also will it be available as an alternative for the resources which will at some time vanish. With the rate at which we use petrol there certainly will b a time when petrol will be scarce and man should be prepared with some alternative to it. Can green petrol be a alternative to this petrol crises?

Green petrol is created from plant matter and some sustainable biomass source like switch grass. Green petrol doesn’t contain carbon. But still research is going on it to make it more effective. It can be the alternative of today’s petrol. But it depends that how much it cost to us. And we also need a vehicle which can run on such bio fuel. So can’t say anything much about this ‘Bio fuel’.
