Success is a journey; not a destination.

I love this quote. It reminds me that I need to be aware of my goals, but the ultimate goal is to be happy along the journey :)

The basis for success is within you. But if we view the measurement of what success is for a lot of people nowadays, I think there are only two things: wealth and status. Anyway, if success is a journey then we just have to savor and enjoy every moment along the way. It could be good or bad. Why? Because we learn in the process and we can fully appreciate the fruit of our labor.

I certainly agree that success is something that you have to work towards rather than just expect to be there. I have always wanted to be able to describe myself as a success, and I know that to be able to do that I need to work very hard and make sure that I keep my eyes on the prize at all times. I just can't see how people just think that they're going to be able to be a success without bothering to put any work at all into the things that they doing. I know that I am always going to try as hard as I can, and I'm never going to give up.

Well, I wonder how you can tell it a success when the journey was full of sadness and pain and most probably failure.i think success is when you feel the victory for achieving your goal. and getting what you want in life, the journey is what you go through in order to succeed. sometimes loosing a lot can motivate you for a bigger win

You don't know you're purpose if you don't know where you're going and therefore success is also unclear.Every individual varies success differently. They may say i'm successful because i'm rich or i'm successful because i have a nice carrier.But what about yourself?the emotions that you've feeling for having material things?my point is the happiness through out your journey is also a part of your success

I am agree with you, that the secret of success is to know your pupose, but I think you should be steady and patient to acheive success, to enrich and to search new opportunities, as you say the this is a jurney with many Crossroads:)

I also think that success is not a destination and is a journey. Life is a journey and success do come to us after many failures. I also think that God wants us to be successful in our life. I also think agree with you that success is not only about having a lot of money, big house, expensive car, etc. I think success means doing our best in our lives on things we can do. I also think that success is a journey and everyday is a successful day.

You spelled it out perfectly. Some people think that you reach success at a certain point but truth is there will *never* be an end in sight. There will always be much MUCH more you can achieve. Success is simply a term. We are not doing the things we do to achieve a certain moment in life in order to be happy, heck I'd say that way of thinking is dangerous. Why? Well because we are living TODAY with the thought of 'Someday things will be better, when I have x/y object/experience x/y event, etc. that in that certain moment we will be happy but that is such an erroneous thought as we are living n the future and NOT on TODAY. TODAY simply passes us by. With that type of thinking we will simply live in the future and forget that there is something else that deserves more of our attention, the little things. Just now you gave me an insight of something new and I'd like to thank you for it. The past few days I had been really sad because I'm starting our a blog and yes I am aware that my writing is not the best in the world, heck I suck at it right now. Anyways what I am trying to say is that I had been searching and searching for an answer, I was wondering why was it that I didn't just do the things I love, why did I take so long, etc. Well just now I realized that in order to be happy it doesn't matter where I reach or what I achieve. As long as TODAY, RIGHT NOW, THIS MOMENT I am doing what I love which is helping others, drawing, writing novels and simply getting myself known out there. Oh and don't forget hanging out with my family, friends and gaining a new experience/insight each day. It doesn't matter where I end up as long as I do this things I love TODAY because what's the point of gaining world fame if you didn't enjoy your LIFE. "Be happy at this moment because this moment is your life."

Some people like to feel each moment of success. It is really like a journy. I think it is a wonderful journy because you'll reach at the end.

success is knowing your purpose in life, growing to reach your maximum potential and sowing seeds that benefit others..
