Is money the root of all evil? The love of money root of evil? Or the money will be rooted in the soil of your own thoughts? To earn money quickly involve greed and selfishness? Or just about being efficient and intelligent? Make more money means that someone loses? Or you can make money while others simultaneously grow wealth without hurting anyone? It is smart to do both money just to survive and cover your basic needs? Or is just being lazy and uninspired? Rich people have compromised the integrity? Or is it possible to follow the path of wealth, in a manner that serves the highest good of all? If you had absolute abundance fianciara you do with it? If funds allow you to express more of who you are right now, what you express? A noble goal? A security needs? Fear and uncertainty? Self-sacrifice? Abundance? If you become rich and then teach others to do the same, you've done a disservice and you have corrupted? Or you have provided an incalculable gift?
All these are questions to consider when deciding what role money will play in your life.
Nothing can replace money in that area in which money works.

If money is the root of evil I want to help relieve that problem by getting people to send their money to me. I better watch what I wish for eh?
I've gotten to know this guy that has a lot of money and he is very straight forward about it. It is what he thinks about, talks about and focuses on. He is all about business. Well, the thing is he is not really a bad person just that he says there is nothing wrong with wanting to be this way with money. It is his major goal in life to aquire it.
I think on the other hand there is much more to life than that but also see to be able to do things we need that world he lives in. Life is a ... money pit sometimes.

The good or bad, that we associate with money comes from your own beliefs and intentions, not a quality you have money. Money is neutral and powerless. Your thoughts will define the role of money in your life. If money and wealth are somehow connected with evil, greed and selfishness, in your mind, imagine what effect this will have on your financial decisions. Sounds like a good way to prevent you ever become rich, right? Is this a decision that you made consciously? Do you think is right? Pursuit of money is not money or moral connection - you might as well collect stones, beads or shells. Matter energy they bring money. Money will play the role that you intend it to your life. And this intention will arise largely from your pre-conditioned beliefs. If you have been conditioned to associate negative qualities of money, then money will play a largely negative role in your life. If you associate positive beliefs money, then they will play a positive role in your life.
Thanks for response.

I don't think that money can be blamed as the root of allk evil. We all have choice to make for ourselves and our lives in this world. Money does not make those choie s for us. Money may motive those choices into directions which complicate our lives. Still, we have the choice to nake alone what what we do with our lives. It is easy ti blame the power of money or the lack of money for our probkems. In the end we only have ourselves to blame for the vhoices in our lives.

Yeah, I agree with you on this point, Money is not good or bad, it depends on people how to get it and use it. so there is no any reason for people to blamed money.

I don't think money in its general self is the root of all evil. But what money does to people, to get it, make more and keep it is the root of all evil.

I liked your post. I am in total support of money being an inevitable and a basic need for happiness in your life. With so much increasing role and importance of money, we all are nearly giving up ourselves to the power of money. If anyone asks me is it the root of all evil, I would not completely agree with them, every thing is interrelated. The hands in which money resides should be considered the boon or bane. It all depends on who uses and for what. No one wants to enter into a field of crime. Money is blamed to drag them in that world. But there are many who are contended with what they have which proves, the people getting dragged are to be blamed. Now we see a businessman displacing thousands of villagers for his profit. If they agree he is happy, if they don't agree he makes them sad. It is not like he must not have offered them a better living in return of their help, but some constraints binds him too. It depends from person to person who thinks what. Crime is bad criminals are not.

i do not think money is the root of all evil. Money does make people do certain things but I do not believe that money is the root of ALL evil. Before money was created, there was already EVIL. In my opinion, evil is in the world because we are just humans. We commit sin because we are just humans. We are not perfect and we tend to make false decisions. This is my opinion.

Being broke is the root of all evil. People will do some crazy things just to get some money

Money is not the root of all evil, but love of money is. Lack of money can mean many things. For instance, if you sit on your duff and do not do anything then it is your fault if you are not making any money. However, if one does no have the ability, or you are mentally retarded or physically retarded, one may not be able to get a job beyond the lowest wage . That would not be that person's fault. I do not believe that one should make just enough to cover their basic needs. That means one is not contributing to society, not that one should fork over the money that is extra, but one cannot enjoy the things in life, help others by buying books, food, etc. One should not feel guilty if one is successful financially wise. Of course, one should not use money for evil purposes and if one has a business because one worked hard, one should not be a cheapskate and cheat their workers.
That is my take on money. It is not a curse.

I think greed is the root of all evil, greed for money, greed for wealth greed for fame and luxury anything that a person wanting more than they need without thinking that it is not anything that may benefit them more but just to brag and for very selfish reasons.

I do not believe that money is the root of all evil. People are. It is the person who becomes enamored with the idea of money. Greed, simply greed. Money is a necessity, no count about it. We all need it to survive. But to become overwhelmed with the idea of money is horrible. It is like an addiction, like any other addiction. I also believe that there is no such thing as evil. That I believe was invented for movies. People, all people have a dark side, some just choose to live on the dark side. Which to others look at as evil. Everyone wants to be rich, but not everyone will be and that is a cold hard fact of life.

Money represents such a complex topic that we could probably discuss about it for long hours without reaching a conclusion;sometimes I think they are one of the worst things invented by humans and they are indeed the root of all evil in the world. However,I don't believe anyone who claims to hate money because it's impossible to live without it,money will probably disappear when the humans will perish as well, and it's normal to enjoy having money as long as we don't become too desperate for more of it and we begin doing doing bad things to satisfy our greed. It's obvious that money makes the world goes round, but we mustn't let it invade our souls too.
