My son has a job!!!!!!

My son has a full time job working for a promotions company.He has had some jobs in three years but he was made redundant twice and the last job was at kfc they let him go as he could not make the meals up quick enough.So success at last I am so happy for him he is only 18years old and it is so hard for them these days.So everything is wonderful and he is so happy.This is for everyone looking for work don't give up.

Congratulations Suzzy! I will be graduating soon and I am scared that I won't get a good stable job. I have heard a lot of the graduates in my school have not yet found jobs. Some even declined job offers because the pay was so low. Congratulations to your son. Good job. Happy mylotting!

My advise is take anything no matter what the pay is,Once you have a job it is easier to get a better one.My son done well because he kept himself employed in some awful low paid jobs.He got the work place experience which is now paying off .I could hug him to bits.

You hear so many youngsters saying "I am to good to do that job" Every job is important in its own way.You don't have to do the job for life,it is just a step on the ladder to your journey in life.Good luck if you can walk straight into your dream job.Not many do.Not there fault just the way things are in the present economic climate.I am sure you will do well.

hmm.. Wow I never really thought of it that way. But yeah I do get your point. Thank you for your advice :) I will keep that in mind when I graduate

Wow, that's good news! I'm happy for you too, and this is one of those feel good news that most of us need in order to be more inspired to keep on looking and not give up no matter what. He will do more great things, he's only 18 and yet he showed his persistence in getting a job, a trait that some kids his age could use having some.

Oh that definitely is one of the winner's trait. He's still young, he's got proper priorities straightened out. He will learn a lot and with a parent like you that's there for him, he will be just fine. It's not gonna be easy, but then, when did life ever get any easy? Congratulations to you too, you raised a wonderful person.

Is this more a career option for him than just a job? Congrats on it nonetheless and hope this is the start of many good things to come in the future! When one doors closes an entire house opens up.

I'm glad that your son finally has a job. Yes, you have to be fast and efficient at fast food joints. It's not fir everyone. Glad he has something he can be happy with.
