I just read a shocking story on Dear Abby. This family had a family reunion. Several family members had to stay at a motel. A grandmother and grandfather had her six year old granddaughter spend the night with them. There was a Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Grandma and the little girl took a bath together in the Jacuzzi. The little girl's mother had a fit because she thought it was inappropriate for an adult to bath with her daughter. What do you think. Grandmother and granddaughter taking a Jacuzzi bath together, I personally see nothing wrong her. The mother it seems has a problem.

Well maybe something happened when the mother was young and she was traumatized. But well I don't see anything wrong with a child and her grandma in the Jacuzzi together.

Then explain to the child that all people gets older and explain more wrinkles = old age.

I mean, I don't see it as a huge problem because they're both girls and the girl is only 6. But I guess it is slightly strange but not necessarily a big deal

Lol I don't think the little girl would worry, I'm sure she'd have a lot of questions about why her grandma looks that way. I still don't know why the mom would have such a problem, especially if it was the woman's own mom. People these days...

Well I don't see anything all that wrong with it. She is still young and they are both girls. I don't see why the mom had a big problem with it. Maybe she doesn't do that at her house, but I guess she should have let the grandmother know that that was a no no if she thought it was a possibility. After all she must've bathed with her mom (if this is the mother's mother) when she was six herself...

Maybe the grandmother has health issues or skin problems and the mother is just worried that her daughter will get sick as well. Other than that, I can think of any reason why she would have to make this an issue.

I don't see a problem with it at that age. If it was an older child yeah I could see an issue with it. I agree with someone else, if it was the grandfather that would be a major issue if I was the mother.
But to each their own I suppose...

I don't see a problem with that at all. It was a treat for the little girl. We've just been conditioned that everyone is out to molest our kids, even our own family. I congratulate the mom for being protective but if she doesn't trust her own mother and has no reason for it I think she needs help.
