Hello mylotters! I am already a senior in my school and guess what? IT IS YEARBOOK TIME! We are about to take our photos that will be placed in our yearbook. A lot of people already planned what they are going to wear and what type of theme they are going for. But I haven't thought about this yet. And actually, I can't think of what to wear and what creative concept to do in my creative shot. Can you guys help me? Give me a creative concept and some wardrobe options that I could try! Thank you very much. I appreciate all of your responses :) happy mylotting.

This is new. I thought there is an official clothes to wear for a yearbook shot, at least that's the common case here. Well, since you have this privilege to choose a theme or any outfit you desire for the shoot, then the only advice I could probably give is this, think carefully how you want to look like in that book and what you will be thinking when you see that photo of yourself years from now. I know It wasn't much help, but I hope you can find a good one. Good luck!

In my opinion, official suit would be more available to wear for your YEARBOOK photo.

We already have one formal shot. That will be the official suit that you are talking about. I need a cute concept for our creative shots :)

Don't wear anything too trendy. You don't want to look back on your senior portraits 10 years or more from now and think "Why did I wear that?" For my senior portraits I wore jeans and cute button up top and brown dress pants with a white top.

When we had our yearbook pictures taken, we were mandated to wear the school uniform. Well, it did solve the problem of what to wear but its also kinda boring in a different way.
Maybe you can consider wearing smart casual or semi-corporate; that way you project professionalism with a hint of warmth and laid back-ness. Also keep in mind the "printed over plains" or "plains over printed" combination thing. It would be quite an eye-sore if you got printed over printed; while plain over plain may look so washed-out.
