I really wanted to stay asleep, play computer games, enjoy movies and do love-making to my wife when it's raining :). Going to work will be the least option that I will do especially if it's a heavy rain. When areas are flooded, then I'd use my emergency leave because it will be hard for me to travel when it's flooded. :)

I laugh about what you said. The flood that I mean is just a small flood, not those big floods which could drown people or destroy homes. Staying at home and bonding with my family is still the best. :)

The road to my workplace sometime got flooded, but there is still another ways available.

Yes, I will get lazy too if there is a heavy rain outside.Rainy season is the best time to reminisce all the memories that made you sad and happy before. But if I have a work, of course I will get up and move for unless there is no instruction of my boss that our work will be suspended, I still go to work.

When it rains so hard and I am at home ready to go to work, I wish that our leader would tell us not to go to work. Then I can stay home without having to take the trouble to go to work, but it is usually impossible. You are right thata heavy rain make us lazy. Take care.

good day asliah,
with regard to your post, you are right, there were really times that it feels lazy whenever a hard rain was pouring all day long. hence, the weather will somehow push you to go back to bed and sleep. but due to some errands so we need to be awake and move on. the only thing was, i need not to go out for my job is a home-based one.

Ya for sure even it makes mo go haywired and i always tend to become quite lazy and with so beautiful rain surrounding me ,it always make the works float around me and the floods are nice if we view it from a distance but if we get in the roads,i am surely it will impact us in a large ways .but if work is very important for me,i would surely risk the rain or floods and go for it anyway and still be loyal towards my work.
I Always follow the saying ,rain or heat, whatever it many be ,even snow ,i will still go to work and make a difference for me

It's just the opposite with me.Heavy rains energize me.Whenever it is raining cats and dogs,I feel like going out in the rain without an umbrella or a rain coat.I don't care who thinks what about me.It is a tryst between me and the rain.Going out and covering long distances being drenched in the rain is something I like most.Last year I had been to a temple situated at a solitary place at the outskirts of our hometown.Way back home it started raining and my heart danced with joy.People on the road were running for cover. It was only myself who was walking freely enjoying the drops falling on my body.
But I can't afford walking in the rain while going to my workplace. This year the monsoon seems to be weak in our area.

Hi friend, most of us will become lazy during rainy days, as we don't have the ability to go outside and don't go outside if we don't have any important or emergency work, simply we like to watch the rain from our window, or take rest in the cool climate

Oh wow, do I love a long, and rainy day or night. I just love how sleepy and snuggly that it makes me feel. I am very happy person when it rains. I realize that many people get a little dark and depressed. I do not. However, I adore the sun as well, so both states suit me. Probably the only weather I hate is the very very wet, humid melting winter. I live in a garden apartment and do not like this kind of environment produced by cold and damp weather on a continual basis. However, for anyone who likes to listen to the rain, you can go here: www.rainymood.com this is a great site that just plays rain all day and all night on your computer. I like to listen to it if I need a nice nap. Of course, I do live in the midwestern United States, so I am thinking that rain could be a little more irritating if it were in the tropics, or some kind of monsoon season. Take care!

Oh yes, when it is raining heavily , or just moderately, i feel like calling the office that i won't be reporting to work because i am feeling unwell.
Though, sometimes i really do that.

Hello asliah! It is here too in the southeast region , dark and gloomy. And yes it does make me lazy indeed. Due to my lack of better judgement, I have skipped some lectures because the heavy rain made me just want to sleep in . But like I said, due to my lack of better judgement, I missed a few really important ones. After that, I had to psyche myself out; telling myself its just a bit of rain and I am blessed to be in a complete and well-built infrastructure city whereas some people would have to walk miles to get to their school and still get better grades. So I cant allow myself to be lazy. One to preach I am, there would be an exception if I have had perfect attendance for the whole semester and whatnot..
Floods in some area, if it was for work then yes. I would want to find a way around it, there has to be a way. I love what I do. And like I said, if I do get lazy, I would have to psyche myself out again.
